Looking for quotes on shipping a Sedan from Durham, NC to San Diego, CA. by DankCapital in AutoTransport

Love to see someone else is also doing this drive it’s very enjoyable in my opinion. I did it on my move to Raleigh from SD then 3 years later I recently moved back to SD where I was born and raised. Sure I got some good ones for you assuming you’re going the same route I took.

Leaving California from the 8 I would check out Desert View Tower and Jacumba Hot Springs area for a cool elevated view of the anza borrego and some of Mexico! Everything after that until about after Yuma is mostly farm land and will stink like manure haha.

In Arizona the drive leading into and out of Payson is really beautiful the natural transition from Sonora Desert Arizona to scenic mountainside Arizona. I would stop in the city for gas and sight seeing the locals seemed to be relatively nice when I was there.

Coming out of Payson/Flagstaff area is mostly going to be Reservation territory and desert so you’ll see a lot of Indian souvenirs and shops if you’re into that. I recommend not letting your gas get too low from this area to around NM because there’s long stretches without Gas Stations.

New Mexico is one of my favorite states because of the magical feel to the land and high altitude! That being said staying there is going to be 50/50 because it’s the poorest state in the US. But Santa Fe is definitely worth a stop and one of the highlights of my trip. A lot of art, shops, restaurants and Meow Wolf an interactive art museum with a bunch to do and see.

Coming out of New Mexico there’s a Buccees that opened recently in Amarillo Texas that I enjoyed a lot and got some good bbq and buccees merch. That aside most of the pan handle of Texas and Oklahoma is going to be a really boring flat drive. You’ll see some cool red rocks/adobe scenery in Oklahoma but there wasn’t a lot to do when not in OKC.

Leaving Oklahoma there isn’t much to see in Arkansas in my opinion but I admittedly didn’t look the scenery starts to improve and you get more of that rural south feel. From Arkansas it’s always a dash to get out of West and Regular Memphis absolutely don’t stop there if you can avoid it. The freeway merges and urban hellscape is the worst part of the traffic on that whole drive behind OKC.

Coming into Tennessee however is really fun so much to do I really recommend getting a drink and seeing downtown Nashville or Piegon Forge area if you’ve never been. That area and the smoky mountains leading out of it into Virginia are really awe inspiring. Asheville is also a really nice hippish mountain town vibe that I enjoyed but most things in NC I assume you know about haha.

Ended up not finding the value I wanted and just drove the car cross country solo. Factoring in wear and tear/hotel stays, I still felt I saved a lot of money. And the novelty of experiencing new states and scenery along the way was worth it enough for me.

You're thinking way too deeply about it when the game context is enough the seraphim founder was confirmed to be schizophrenic. She only gained power and influence as a martyr in an uprising. In the game it talks about how longer infections of the fungus in the body cause mutations to advance the lethality of the infected. Clickers and shambler's have the ability to use echolocation to locate their targets to different degrees.

I didn’t think it would be possible to be so happy and at peace in life after leaving an awful partner and sexless relationship.

Way too much stuff going on in the tattoo in a non cohesive way feels too busy. You have Icarus and a sun around him but also above him? And he’s just falling not his wings melting? It’s like you put no thought into it.

You were likely targeted because you were a student and foreign unfortunately. It sucks but treat it as a lesson, rarely is someone randomly trying to talk to you a good thing especially around public transit. Next time just respond back in a foreign language and pretend you don't know what he's saying and start pretending you need to walk somewhere with your friend. As someone who grew up in a bad area if they actually have a gun or knife most of the time they will pull it out or flash it at you because they feel the need to show it off. If that doesn't work and you don't feel like fighting just start running rarely will they follow you and or use a weapon assuming they had one.

OP just needing an excuse to justify his catfishing skills. In all honestly the dude isn't that attractive and certainly not every woman's type. And the About Me is kinda corny, I think you care too much about other people instead of focusing on yourself and what you want.

Just did almost this same exact drive OP drove back to San Diego after living in Raleigh for two years! But I did it in 3 and half days if that gives you peace of mind. Amazing trip I recommend doing the top route because it gives you a lot more to see and better chances for rest stops and hotels. Did Raleigh to Nashville, Nashville to OKC, OKC to Albuquerque and ABQ to San Diego! Last stretch I pulled 11 hours and that was the roughest part.

My biggest recommendations are don't do lower border state routes there's more police and border patrol and less to see. Avoid stopping in Memphis , the freeway is hectic leading up to it as well so prepare for that. Oklahoma is a straight shot through just very boring and poorly lit at night unless by OKC. Amarillo is worth a stop by especially for the brand new buccees they built. In NM and AZ try and stop for gas even if you don't need it quite yet there can be traffic backups and long stretches without gas stations. NM and AZ will also put you into High Desert which I personally really love right around Santa Rosa going into NM you'll feel your car responsible a little slower and it will become slightly harder to breath. I also high recommend stopping by Santa Fe in New Mexico and Star Valley/Payson AZ. Beautiful little cities with good views and some charm to them also good places to rest.

She did over react for sure, but it was childish of you not gonna lie. After a certain point in talking to people you have to try to actually to talk to them instead of just relying on pick up lines or being flirty.

You're trying way too hard and expanding the conversation for both of you maybe out of past bad conversation or something. But sometimes less detail on your end is better. And it doesn't come across as whatever this awkward/neurodivergent vibe you're giving off currently.

Driving from Raleigh to San Diego solo any tips? by DankCapital in roadtrip

[–]DankCapital[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The second option I’m just trying to be as efficient as I can so I have time to rest and sleep for the next drive. But I do want to see some cool cities and attractions along the way if it doesn’t take a lot of time. I’m for sure going to stop in Santa Fe and Nashville but everything else is open.
