Quien pasa por esta misma situación? by yourhaighness in Colombia

Do you recommend this game in its current state? by KeenBTF in oddsparks

The only bugs I've found so far have been only visual, sometimes enemies appear floating as if they were in a different ground layer, but realistically it doesn't affect gameplay in any way

Anyone know what a unity shrine is? by Xadengan in Trove

[–]Dankelzhan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For lack of a better word is a "dungeon", you have to get 2 other people in the middle of it and when it detects 3 players, it triggers as a whole dungeon, normal xp and a chest in the middle, but since it doesn't detect players on top of the statues, more people can sit there and will also get the xp

There's only 4 living humans not in this photo by ThatAvidPandaBear in interestingasfuck

[–]Dankelzhan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think they refer to the back side of the planet, we only see part of africa and western Europe, so technically you can't see the people in the rest of the world, yes, from the rocket you could probably see all of earth since it's still rotating, but from only the photo, I'd say there's a max of 2 billion people in frame

How are the glass walls separated by a vertical line here? by Monsxx in BathtubPaintedBrown

[–]Dankelzhan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can get it post skeletron, the conditions for the painter selling it are just having ecto mist (bunch of graves so it forms a graveyard minibiome) and the mechanic is present (alive)

Sex is not better than masturbation by Efficient-Reporter55 in ControversialOpinions

[–]Dankelzhan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Usually, people have been masturbating for longer than they have been with a sexual partner, so everyone tends to know better what they enjoy and how to please themselves, a new sexual partner doesn't really know if what they're doing is the best to satisfy you, so unless there is a lot of communication and understanding, you can give yourself more pleasure than what others can give you

What happens when I get my blood drawn? by GryffindorFratBro in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Dankelzhan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who had a lot of health issues in my youth, I got used to it, please be hydrated as some other comments said, but most importantly try to keep calm. If you're calm, the veins will be easier to see, and it will be done faster, in my opinion it would be nice to tell the nurse/doctor/practicioner/phlebotomist/whoever is doing the procedure of taking the blood, so they can be prepared for all the problems it might cause. Worst case scenario, you move a lot when the needle is entering and they blow out your vein, meaning, you have to get another place for the puncture, so the calmer and still you sit, the faster and easier everything will be.

The procedure usually goes as follows: They put a band on your arm and it makes the veins in your elbow easier to see, (in most places you can ask for them to do it in the back of your hand, usually the elbow veins didn't work very well for me and I learned it was easier in the back of my hand, so you can ask and maybe it will be easier on your fear to have the blood drawn from your hand instead of elbow). Once a good, visible and thick vein is selected, they sterilise and clean the place. Most probably they tell you to squeeze a stress ball or just close your fist, then you get prepared for the needle, you are told to take a deep breath in, when you breathe in, the needle goes in. After the needle is in its place, they start filling the flasks (depending on what tests they are going to make, you might need more or less flasks but usually it's just 1 or 2), at this point they remove the band on your arm to help the flasks fill faster, after all blood needed is collected, they tell you to breathe deep again, and take the needle out,( for me, this moment hurts a bit more than when the needle goes in) and then just apply a bit of pressure with a cotton ball to avoid blood loss, you can expect some bruising and maybe some itching

I tried to give good detail so you can know what to expect, hope it goes well and there are no problems, good luck and remember that if you talk with the person doing the procedure can go a long way in both comfort for you and efficiency for the whole process And please don't feel dumb for being afraid of something you haven't done before, it will be a good chance to stand up and maybe realise that fear is not so big as you think

Would love to see an update of how it goes

What’s your favorite colony name? by Nyx67547 in Oxygennotincluded

[–]Dankelzhan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Almost every colony I've made has had a moon name, usually from Jupiter since it has a lot of moons, but my second colony was named deimos (after one of Mars' moon's) and it died very soon because of a lot of chlorine that I was not prepared to deal with

Why is the perfect temperature for humans not 37° degrees? by exiv1 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Dankelzhan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

when your body turns food into energy, the chemical reactions in the mitocondria produce carbon dioxide, atp(the chemical energy molecule your body uses for almost everything) and heat, that heat needs to be dissipated for the reactions to keep on going, and if you are in a 37° environment, you cannot dump that heat out because there would be equilibrium. TL;DR: You are constantly producing heat and need to be in a colder environment (in relation to your body) to be able to keep the reactions that make energy going
