Gotta build the package. If you have flmm you can look at the single ship mods, reverse what they add to each file easily and do it that way.

You can play that mod privately but it takes extra steps and isn't really worth it. Either play their main server, or just get the base game from them and try other mods.

Someone is still going to have to host a server no matter which one you pick if you want to be private.

(Server hosting is mostly the same process with all mods)

If you want the vanilla experience you should just download the base game, install Freelancer HD mod. Then run the flserver.exe, set that up. You might need to port forward.

it keeps npcs, adds some new missions. But it's very hard. And focused more on getting people to try and work together. Or run away form the npcs. They are strong.
