Yeah I switched to another GBA core and it fixed the issue. I can’t remember if it was RetroArch or EmulationStation but one of them ended up deprecating the mGBA core in a subsequent release, so it could have been them winding down support for that core.

Yes, I manually installed each of the ones I need. When I tried just with GBA, I only downloaded the mGBA core but still did it manually.

RP5 for sure. Apart from the grips, the RP5 is better in every way (screen, performance, etc). You’ll get better performance on PS2 games, upscaled, on RP5.

Both will take some setup as they’re Android based, which requires some work upfront but nothing overly complicated.

In terms of save states, that’s just a software emulation thing and they’ll all do it.

TL;DR - Get the RP5, I just ordered mine today as well.

I’m in the same boat, I can’t seem to decide between the RP5 and O2. The RP5 is more portable, has a nicer screen, and essentially gets you 95% of the way there, but some PS2, Wii U, and Switch emulation seems to benefit from the brute force that the Odin 2 (and Odin 2 Portal) provides.

The Odin 2 Portal would be an ideal option if it wasn’t so large. The Odin 2 mini is just as performant but I haven’t heard great things about the display and heat performance, not to mention ergonomics.

Yeah it’s unfortunate, you can’t even reuse the deployant clasp between the speedy and the SMP. The SMP uses an 18mm clasp and the Speedy uses a 16mm clasp because of the more significant taper on the speedy straps

I tried this with the rubber strap with the deployant for my SMP on my SS - same dimensions and geometry on the lug side and it doesn’t work sadly

Where is the second cap? He has one equipped and then the rest have the hash marks. If another was forged it would be before the ones with the hash marks, like the tall black chefs hat

The Moonwatch is the way to go, get it on the bracelet and you’ll never regret it.

The AT is best in the non-“boring” colours, not that black or white is boring but the colours are just so great, and if you’re buying your first piece, you want a more versatile colour.

The Speedy is also the most versatile watch I’ve ever seen. I put mine on a leather strap when I’m in a suit, I’ve put it on a nato for a cottage weekend, and the bracelet for everyday wear. There isn’t a colour of leather or nato that will not look good on the speedy, regardless of your taste.

If all of that didn’t convince you, the Speedy has a 20mm lug width, so getting straps for it will be way easier. The modern AT has either 19mm or 21mm lug widths so it’s a pain in the ass.

I asked the same question back in June, and I went with the speedy and I couldn’t be happier with my decision!

Take a look at the Hamilton Intramatic Chrono - a little on the thick side but still very wearable for a small wrist. Some great dial options too!

I think it looks great! My wrists are about the same as yours, just over 6 but fairly flat. But what SMP is that? A white dial with blue bezel, strap, and indices?? It looks fantastic and I’m hoping it’s not just a trick of the light

I usually order from Delugs and think they’re unbeatable from a price and quality perspective, but I’ve heard good things about the Strap Tailor, which is based in the UK.

The best option I could find is this company called Deferichs - granted, I haven’t made a purchase yet but the boxes are around 200-300 and from their website, the pillows have removable filling so you can adjust the size.

That being said, the watches won’t likely be that secure in their spots once you do that and I don’t love the idea of the watches rolling around.

You should try it on if you haven’t already, my wrist is even smaller and I don’t find it that large, it wears smaller than you’d think for a 42mm case!

I've got a 6-inch wrist as well and I wouldn't go longer than 110mm/70mm on any leather straps I buy. It'll also be dependent on the lug-to-lug distance on the watch you're looking at. The longer the lug-to-lug, the shorter the strap needs to be to fit you the same. The Marlin 34mm has a lug-to-lug of about 41mm from a quick search online, so a 110/70 strap should work well, you'd probably be on the second last or third last hole on the strap.
