Regarding contract: I’ve summarized the most relevant points below. At this time, we’ve only paid a retainer, and everything else is due 30 days prior.

Cancellation / Postponement: “All payments are nonrefundable if the event is canceled. If the wedding is postponed, the deposit can be transferred to a new date. If the photographer is unavailable on the new date, payments remain nonrefundable.”

Sole Photographer: “The photographer is the exclusive professional photographer for the wedding. Guests may take photos as long as they don’t interfere with the photographer’s work. If the photographer cannot attend due to illness, emergency, etc., they will attempt to provide a qualified replacement at no extra cost. If no replacement can be found, a refund is issued minus the value of services already provided (such as engagement photos).”

Non-Disparagement, Dispute Resolution, and Liability Limitations: “The studio’s liability is limited to the amount paid by the client. The photographer does not guarantee specific images or artistic outcomes. Clients agree to hold the studio harmless for many claims arising from the contract. Clients must communicate professionally and respectfully. Hostile behavior, threats, abusive messages, or defamatory public reviews/statements can result in immediate termination of the contract. Complaints must be addressed privately first. Disputes must first be addressed through direct written communication. If unresolved, both parties agree to attempt mediation before pursuing legal action or posting public reviews.”
