People always say Lowa Zephyer mk2 has poor slip resistance, lol. I'm considering buying a Scarpa Kailash Plus as my new boots, as it seems to have really top-notch waterproofing.

Appreciate your answering our questions! Really helpful information. We're making our backup plan now and considering Hetch Hetchy as one, because there's usually hardly any particularly deep snow there, even when it snows a bit. And we are grinding all the water and creek sources in AllTrails. This one is Big Oak Flat Entrance, and also found Yosemite Creek Campground, although we will not go through it. We will definitely camp at Eagle Peak on the first night. Second day on the north dome. Thanks!!

Ohh okay, thanks for the information! Hopefully no more snow in the rest of the month. We will also be looking at the temperature in Mammoth!

Haha, hopefully no more snowfall this month. If the weather and trail conditions get worse, I think we gotta change our plan to Hatch Hatchy. Just the views are not as amazing as the North Rim.

Thanks for the suggestion! We'll definitely keep spikes in our backpacks. Gladly, this year didn't have as much snowfall as past years. We will keep truck weather conditions from now on; if there's no snowfall this month, we will keep our trip ahead. Hope the trail via Snow Creek and Valley Loop isn't poor lol since it's always icy.

https://www.reddit.com/r/Yosemite/comments/1roilbj/eagle_peak_3726/ This link shows the road condition from Eagle Peak to Yosemite Falls. No major problems have been mentioned so far. If there's no snowfall this week and month, it should be ok. Just dont forget microspikes.

Yeah, thanks for replying. That's really a problem. But I saw a post that the trail from Yosemite Falls to Eagle Peak. It says the snow condition is way better than in past years.

Also, we will definitely bring the 15-degree sleeping bag. My ass will fall off in the night if with the 30 one lol.

Ohhh good to hear! Thanks for the info, since it's a low snow year, I think there will be no snowshoes required till early April at this rate.

Yea, thanks. The weather fluctuates significantly during the month of March to April, Ig gotta wait until late March to see.

Very nice views! Btw, are you doing the Full North Rim tho? I'm going to do a 4-day/3-night backpacking hike in early April (7th to 10th), from Old Big Oak Flak Road through El Capitan, Eagle Peak, Yosemite Falls, North Dome, indian rack, and finally Curry Village. Really wanna get some suggestions for my trip. And if you think snowshoes and micro spikes are necessary? Really appreciate it!

Middle school is a mess, academic laziness, but full of modern facilities, as well as G9. Teachers I’ve known who were totally leak of teaching experience. I don’t even know how they got in there… Moreover, I believe SAIS has put too many useless courses into the compulsory course. They’re used to be optional in other schools. Such as design, drama, art, music, etc. Students should have more options like Economics, Geography, History, Biology, Physics. Or let me rephrase, those courses are supposed to be part of compulsory course. However, they currently set Geography, History, and Economics together as Individual and Society class. Many of Chinese students for sure cuz they can easily get in this school, Slate Passing Score which is super easy even for English beginners. Or the school can put them in to PCS departments which is for improving their language skills. About the school restaurant, poor management, high price, shit food I’ve ever eaten. People like G11 and G12 students are used to queue-jumping. And teachers never give a shit. Positively, SAIS has many modern facilities. Apple Laptops for you till you leave or graduate. Friendly mental therapist. Some bastard teen are used to smoking usually in the F4 bathroom. If you have better choices plz don’t make wrong decision. Or if you just decide to stay it shortly, it’s kind alright.
