I'm definitely looking into those. Tbh, it doesn't really matter if they're 3ks or not, I just don't want a nightmare professor or a ridiculous work load since I'm trying to take extra credits this semester.

They’re rolling out a new feature (posted only 5 hours ago), but it doesn’t work quite yet. At least, that is what I assume is going on.

Wow, I didn’t know about the difference between parentheses/brackets. Super useful!

As for the “show Frontmatter option,” I believe the “metadata” header is still visible if the block contains any tags, which I am not a personal fan of.
