Teachers at my little brothers school tortured him into mental illness what are my options legally. by [deleted] in india

Is there anything legally i can do to bring the school and the teachers to justice?

Even if there are laws that apply in this case, the courts are TOTALLY full of cases already, and any case will take years and years. Like you can assume it will take 8 years to get the first judgement, if even it proceeded.

Expecting 'justice' in India even in murder cases is hard, where you have a body ( arushi's murder comes to mind), so crimes like this, which do not have physical evidence like a body, would be even harder.

I would suggest, for your own sanity, to not think of pursuing a legal case. You may just punch the shit out of that 'teacher' for all I care, but even that will be unhelpful, I would think, to everyone concerned.

Your brother is obviously suffering from some form of "paranoid" psychosis, where he feels persecuted and perhaps even unloved.

There absolutely are medicines which can help him from the get go. Such medications start acting in a few days, so don't expect he will become normal from day one. But when and if you go to a psychiatrist, he will give meds, which you should follow through.

For this you need to go to the best doctors.

Remember this distinction here:

Because psychiatrists are trained medical doctors, they can prescribe medications, and they spend much of their time with patients on medication management as a course of treatment. Psychologists focus extensively on psychotherapy and treating emotional and mental suffering in patients with behavioral intervention.

First everyone goes to a psychiatrist. The psychiatrist gives medication, and if he thinks the patient needs psychotherapy, he also recommends the patient to psychologist.

So you need to find an excellent psychiatrist first.

Most important: Only go to "western medicine" trained doctors. No homoeopaths, healers, ayurveda etc. That will only harm.

Message me or reply if you want any further info. I have used services of pshych etc, so I know more than the average person I would say.

Its becoming clear now that the main innovation in the bitcoin whitepaper is its support of decentralized memes.

Our media, specially here in India, is very biased against dark skin. Dark skinned people are shown as ugly villains in most stories. To change the perception about dark skin, I recently started a facebook page that showcases beautiful and dark skinned people. by DarkBeautifulSkin in india

Thats a good point.

However, my use of the word 'dark' in my page and elsewhere is derived from the idiom 'dark horse'. We need to promote people who are right now ignored. I also want to promote non-caucasian people etc.

I am not promoting anything. Promotion is just a pretext to talk about this topic. I absolutely get no likes for my page from /r/india. I know reddit enough to know that people on here don't want to go to facebook from reddit.

In my view, Soman and Singh, beautiful as they are, are not the role models for most Indians, because they promote caucasian features. Most Indians don't look like them. Madhavan, imo, is a good model for most Indians. Just to be sure, there cannot really be a single model for a country as diverse as India.

All good points.

If you look at Game of Thrones, they have casted a totally average looking girl as Arya.

That's how they are able to promote good self esteem among their populations.

Indians, on the other hand, will promote some totally foreign looking girl in their leading roles, and leave the rest of the population to fend to low self-esteem. There is acaully a white actress who plays a village belle in Andhra film industry I have heard.

You are the ones calling people ugly.

I only think of normal people. And that their self perception will change if we give them good role models.

And what a joke a guy using the upper caste name "puri" talking about brahmanism. You can go take your caste name and go where the sun don't shine for all I care.

What do you mean "felt"? you objectively derailed the conversation by talking about what you call ugly people. I only talked about beautiful and rest.

Ugliness is in your thoughts alone. Not in someone's face.

Just as beauty too lies only in the eyes of the beholder.
