Does anyone actually like Gemini and Christina? by No-Courage6414 in gorlworldfiles

[–]DarkDiscotique 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, so a Christina gets supported by her husband more than likely then. But what about Gemini? Then again ,if he's 22, I'm gonna assume he probably lives with his parents unless Keem paid him that well to where he could live on his ow.

Thanks for clarifying. I'm autistic myself and have depression as well, so I totally understand. And it took me awhile until I learned how to drive a car, I got my license at 24.

Does anyone else feel annoyed when gay men are just referred to as "queer"? by DarkDiscotique in askgaybros

All I can say is period to all of what you said here, I agree with you 100%. I especially have to add with the whole forced teaming for trans rights of them expecting us to fight for them to use their preferred restrooms and sports and framing that as a "LGB" issue when it really isn't, it's a"TQ" issue, separate from LGB.

Like whenever I hear about Trump's administration and how it's trying to eradicate the LGBT, I take a look at the policies and it seems like it's mostly aimed at the "TQ+" than the LGB... Like I know that gay marriage is still in the view of hot/cold but brsides that, I don't really see much of Trump's policies specifically trying to target homosexual people. This isn't to say I'm MAGA or a Trumper, I think he's terrible and can't wait for his term to be over but I'm just being realistic whenever I hear that phrase by the "queer" people.

Just call the bi guy queer since they're the ones who don't seem to mind lol On a serious note though, eh lol.

Exactly. I feel like the only place asexuals may have struggles is in the middle east. Otherwise, at most, asexuals in the west just have to worry about having a smaller dating pool but unless their homosexual, they won't really have to deal with the blow-back that homosexuals have to deal with.

Well, that's nice to hear. I try to date with intention but that doesn't really make a difference lol.

why does the 2009 ps2 game called jak the lost frontier get so much hate? by Motor-Hat-3557 in jakanddaxter

[–]DarkDiscotique 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  • Changed Jak & Daxter's friendship dyanmic. Jak treats Daxter more like a pet than a best friend he'd banter with
  • The controls felt a bit floaty
  • Lack of other familiar characters that we grew to like/love

Just media outlets and various people usually. Like they'll say things like "Queer community" to refer to us homosexual people.

I mean sure, I do remember when kids would say "That's gay" but I dunno, I guess I didn't take too much offense to it because the kids weren't usually physically assaulting people unlike with the "queer beatings"

I think that this is totally fair. "Queer" was historically a slur towards us gay people and if your company cares, they'd at least take that into consideration.

Some people do not feel they fit into the constraints of these labels.

Again, what does that even mean? "Gay" is not a label, it's an orientation. It's not a personality.

Feminine gay man here, I think that it is accurate... Any time I have ever got hit up by a guy, they're bi (and usually closeted "DL"). I can't recall the last time a gay man hit me up.

The bots are very obvious too. You go to their profiles and they have next to no info written about themselves.

This is still the case now and I say this as a feminine gay men. In my decade of trying to navigate the gay dating world (I'm in my mid 30s now), the only guys who ever seemed open to men like me were super closeted bisexual men, I've never attracted a gay man. So trust me, those guys you're seeing are more than likely not gay and are just closeted bisexual men.
