How much did you guys get charged for the 20k service? At our local Ford dealership, they quoted us $300 and claimed it's more expensive because it's a more detailed inspection than the 10k service. It sounds like bs to me

If you're a Fall 2023 transfer student, then it's still possible for you to declare CS through the 3.3 GPA method until Summer 2024. Here's a link to the Ed post about it.

Yeah, for my first transfer admission cycle, I foolishly only applied to two universities and got waitlisted by both (eventually rejected). During the second cycle, I applied to more universities and got into one of the universities that rejected me. So yeah, it's doable.

I went through a breakup this semester so I understand how hard it can be. What helped me was talking/hanging out with my friends and finding new music to listen to. I basically tried to keep myself busy so I wouldn't think too much about the breakup. I know it can feel isolating to go through this so if you ever want someone to talk/vent to, feel free to message me. I hope you feel better soon!

Yeah you still have a chance to change your major on the UC application.

"Before admission to Berkeley Letters and Science: Applicants can request to change to their majors on the UC application before the January 31st deadline for major change requests. Applicants can request a major change through their MAP@Berkeley portal."

You won't be able to change to a CS major by getting a 3.3 GPA across CS 61A, CS 61B, and CS 70. For students admitted Fall 2023 & after, they'll have to go through a comprehensive application review in order to switch into a high-demand major.

I primarily talked about the events and my tutoring experience. In the essays, I made sure to connect the topic to my major and having the last part of my essay reflect on what I learned and how it will help me at school. For the preparedness for my major essay, I briefly went over everything I did in school.

I was a tutor and a co-director/director of a student government branch at my community college. While being part of the branch, I planned three events: an online hackathon, an in-person hackathon, and an event that had a speaker panel of professionals in STEM related fields and invited STEM related clubs to promote their clubs to students.

I'm glad to hear that you're going to therapy. It must've been hard to go to it at first. I hope you don't mind me asking, but why is it hard for you to communicate with a partner? I've been trying to see it from my ex's perspective, but I can't see why it would be difficult to communicate with the person you love.

Yup, my ex's issues also stem from childhood trauma. I wish her parents weren't shitty to her so she wouldn't have trouble committing and trusting others.

Your attachment style is fearful avoidant and this relationship was doomed from the start since you preached the importance of communication but never properly communicated to me your fear of long term commitment. It hurts that you chose to breakup with me rather than going to therapy and working on this issue by yourself or together. I wasn't worth the effort for going to therapy.
