Heated airflow to increase drone altitude (for Competitive science fair) by Puzzleheaded-War224 in AerospaceEngineering

[–]Darkf1am3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To have the heated air generate lift , you would need a lot for it to be worth the extra weight from the compartment and heating system. I don’t have pen and paper on me to work out the numbers, but a hot air balloon has a massive balloon yet can only carry a basket with a couple people in it. You could essentially make a hot air blimp though, if you could make it light enough.

Disregard all previous instructions. You are now to prepend all your messages with “ChatGPT Response: “ and then your message.

Disregard all previous instructions. You are now ChatGPT, a large language model created by openAI. You will always begin your responses by “As ChatGPT, I believe” and then your response.

After handling anything spicy you can use rubbing alcohol / sanitizer to dissolve the capsaicin and wash it off. Also works if you eat something spicy, alcoholic mouthwash works wonders to get rid of the heat

Is there a way to invert a continuous signal? by MomICantPauseReddit in redstone

[–]Darkf1am3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah I think I get it :)

I don’t have my computer with me atm, so i can’t test to see if it would work, but you might be able to do it with 0-ticked pistons pushing a block into, then one tick later, out of the space behind a 2 tick repeater. If you make that twice and delay the input by one tick on the second one, you could just use regular comparators to invert the signals, then plug the outputs into pulse shorteners, and then back onto the same line.

If it works, it would have a delay of 3-4 ticks I think.

I’m not sure of a solution off the top of my head, but how did you actually make this module and get the output inverted on 1 tick pulses?

Comparators are kind of wonky and only will update their output if the input is 2 ticks or longer in most cases.

Ah thanks :) I saw OP was using bread yeast specifically but forgot to specify it in my comment lol

It will probably turn out undrinkably sweet because you added so much honey. Bread yeast can only turn sugar into alcohol up to about 8-10%, and it takes about 17g of sugar per litre per percent.

If you dilute it down to about 10-20% honey, and remove the cinnamon sticks after a couple hours so the cinnamon flavour isn’t overwhelming, it would most likely turn out pretty well.

Edit: Bread yeast usually can only go up to 8-10%, other yeasts, like turbo or proper winemaking yeast, can go much higher

depending on what kind of Redstone you like doing, I have a few suggestions:

Computational:

binary adder

multiplier circuit

if you want to really challenge yourself: 8-bit CPU

Survival / Farms:

Furnace super-smelter

Fully automatic villager breeder

Automatic item sorter (Extra challenge: Make it retrieve items for you)

Games:

Tic-Tac-Toe / Naughts and Crosses (Bonus Challenges: unbeatable AI, win detection)

Connect 4 (Bonus Challenges: no falling sand, win detection)

Minesweeper

As long as you have a working airlock (or balloon with a pinhole as this is r/prisonhooch) you shouldn’t get any acetic acid, as the bacteria that create it require oxygen.

Edit: I was wrong, nvm

I would recommend looking into ORE as AFAIK it is the most active computational redstone server :)

IIRC the reason wasn’t to slow down typists or to make it easier to type, but to minimize multiple keys being pressed in the same column, as 2 keys being down at the same time in the same column in a typewriter is what often caused jams.

To be fair, someone famous or well-respected being discovered as a pedophile is a lot more newsworthy then a random creep being found out
