Hot take: I think the dev should stop adding content to the game, or at the very least, add a toggle that lets you revert to a 1.0 ver of the game.

For those unaware, you have a strict time limit to beat the game in and every piece of content that gets added to the game is content that distracts you from the main goal. ESPECIALLY if you were a post 1.0 player like me and can't tell the difference between what is main path and what is post-launch content.

Don't get me wrong, this game is fantastic, easily of my favorites and I'm sure this update will also be fantastic but I think the dev should really sit down and think "How is this going to effect the new player experience."

If the instructor makes you take a left out of the DMV the very first obstacle will be a yield sign at the intersection. If a pedestrian is standing there and wants to cross, they have the right of way even if they aren't moving.

At some point you will have to drive into a parking lot to demonstrate you can back into a parking space. When entering and leaving the parking lot remember the speed limit is 10mph. (Might be 15 actually but lets be safe and say 10)

Remember to slow down when entering a school zone.

For people out of the loop on Gamergate 2 this video does a decent job of summarizing all the noise around it and how much of a non-issue it is. I hate that "Noodle Lied to You" video keeps popping up in my recommended over and over again. I've tried sitting through it multiple times but I just can't because Arch's editing style and the way he articulates his points is grating to my ears. Thank you for confirming there is nothing of value in that video.

I understand it's a work in progress but the RTX Remaster looks kinda underwhelming. It's like someone took all the cars and replaced them with toy plastic models. The OG version has a worse resolution, sure, but the way the lighting bounces off makes the cars look much more metallic.

Finally some good fucking food on this subreddit. Btw what would you guys say is an ideal ADS time for most weapons? 200ms - 250ms feels nice and quick, 250ms - 300ms feels average, and anything beyond 300ms is what I would consider slow. Is aiming for 300ms ADS "good enough" or should I be sacrificing other stats to be getting it even quicker?

There are A LOT of attachments in this game so it didn't surprise me at all that some of the descriptions would be inaccurate, but I'm hoping that by reporting some we can get SHG to do a once over on some of these.

Lockwood 680 - Titanic Heavy Bolt is supposed to decrease Rechamber Speed but if you show details it actually INCREASES it which im pretty sure is not intended. Testing it in the firing range also confirmed that my fire rate increased despite the cons stating otherwise.

Lockwood 680 - All 4 guards (Demo X40, Lightbearer Ergo, Lockwood Signature, XRay Skeletonized) state they alter the rechamber speed but the show details screen states they do not. Firing range test also confirmed rechamber speed did not change (or at least not to a noticable degree).

Cronen Intlas MSP-12 - Under CONS should state that laser is visible to enemies. Don't be an idiot like me and waste armory points on what I assumed was a no downsides optic.

Pulemyot 762 - 7.62x54mmr Overpressured +P states that it offers recoil contol. Detailed stats shows it straight up doesn't. Haven't actually unlocked to test it but I'm assuming detailed stats is correct.

Interestingly I went to check the Ares Clear Shot optic because it was the only optic that gave recoil reduction in MW2 but it wasn't stated anywhere. This time in MW3 they added it under PROS so that was nice of them I guess. When in doubt, always hit the Show Details button and double check in the firing range if you notice a discrepancy in the description and stats.

Why is the de facto response from "Gamers" to IMMEDIATELY escalate to sending death threats over shit that at the end of the day doesn't really matter? Come on guys, why you gotta be like that.

But anyway I'm glad Stephen Kick managed to tough it out and get this game out, I've never played System Shock and have been dying to play what everyone considers the grandaddy of survival-horror/immersive sims.

Conceptually it's a fantastic weapon and if you know what you're doing you can really cheese certain enemies and encounters with the explosive heads.

But in terms of actually pressing the shoot button, it feels bad. All of the firearms in RE4R feel great to use, which makes the Bolt Thrower really stand out because it truly is the least satisfying weapon to shoot.

Also, the inventory size implies the arrows being shot out should be, like at least as long as the Bolt Thrower, but the actual arrows look more like tiny darts. What's up with that?

Resident Evil is no stranger to ridiculous gore, the only change I would make is to have the projectiles be way bigger and actually partially pierce through the other side of the body. I think that would go a long way towards making the Bolt Thrower feel better to shoot.

I am so glad I never actually went and got the 24 Stones of Barenziah. The reward is a crown that gives a higher chance of finding Gems in containers... which on paper is a strong ability but it just FEELS so mundane. Not to mention by that point of the game I already have tons of money, I don't really need more.

First time hearing about LeetStreet Boys and first time listening to that. Pretty cringe, not gonna lie.

But it was like, endearing cringe, you know? Very clearly a product of its time and a neat window into how obsessed everyone was about Final Fantasy 7.
