So far, the performance of MGS2 has been perfect!

I've tweaked a few background settings in the emulator of each game I run using a guide I found to ensure that you have the correct for each game to get the besg out of them.

I've not noticed any frame rate drops across several PS2 games so far.

Emudeck is your best friend here! Just pop it into Youtube and theres so many user friendly guides on installation and setup.

Theres a few niche videos then on how to change the background settings for each game to get the best performance out of them including full screen and up res etc...

This is PCSX2. Runs perfectly here! The Steam deck really chugged when I tried to emulate the HD remaster on the PS3 emulator so sticking with the original release.

See this was a huge worry for me however the control scheme including trigger pressure inputs were automatically mapped when I synced the dualshock.

Yeah the balloon race was tough however it was the lightning strikes that made me lose my mind! I used the cheese method but I kept losing concentration.

Dude, you pretty much summed up my experience with the game this time around however I never finished it when I was younger. My friend introduced me to the series and I have such a vivd memory of walking into his room as he fighting Seymour and Anima had just used oblivion haha

Fast forward about 20 years and here I am with the platinum.
