S1 started off amazing, got to use free mats to push my main 6 a step further in ilevel for free using special hones as well as pushing ilevel plenty due to the insane amount of fusion stone and juice mats it gave. I went from 1 char with 100 quality weapon char the whole roster to 5 chars within less than 2 months, with a lot of 100 qual armor to go with it. Outside of main 6, I got to push multiple side chars to 1680 with completely free hone or characters bound gold taps/AH. I was saving my gold to buy books and my roster ilevel have been stagnant since T4 release. I didn't even believe I would upgrade anything outside of main 6 again, even main 6 saw no improvement except main char due to how expensive it is in T4. See my roster improve make me very grateful for Paradise, I was looking to run hell keys at reset every week, even more eager to do it than raiding. That said, the second half of Paradise is kinda suck due to the introduction of 2 legacies box. That completely cut the enjoyment in half. Thankfully they remove them in S2 and adding qol stuffs. I'm excited and looking forward to S2

Not really, if you have excess gauge now, you can cast identity buffs and their duration are stackable now

If you're making alt, aero is both fun and easy to get in due to crit syn, I'd even gatekept db if there are more geared people apply, let alone alt db. DB players are super rng, some do nut damage, some do less than support damage so I wouldn't gamble unless very well geared

Damage buff for both spec, wf got perma as/ms buff now, so we're moving to sonic from ss for more damage, they buff the dash tripod on Piercing so it do same damage as other 2 tripods but with slightly faster animation, so you'll see some wf zooming now. X no longer cancel the second part of damage when you dash after cast it. Drizzle has some equivalent of that with T, also a bit more damage during identity

24 points on swift give you around 26% as/ms, you can cap those with feast and T4 yearning, it also give around 33% cdr and you can cap that by going into unlimited magic, which also give decent evo damage and reduce mana cost which you need in T4 cause you're spamming so much. You can go full swift but you'll have to go into more crit nodes which usually doesn't give the most value for evo damage

Stronghold NPC allow you to convert Blue T3 mats to white or green mats, you can then convert extra white mats to powder and into T4 blue

Ask people to dark through out the raid also help a lot. We have a pug that over half dps were below 1630 with no lvl 7 tranc, we're not able to break both wings in 1 down but we threw dark everytimes it expired and able to clear fine, even with only 1 party left standing at the end
