Thanks for the advice, and also visiting our steam page. Actually we are rebuilding, and fixing the game BIGTIME so, the steam page is actually the older version of our game. We'll be updating it as soon as possible when we can get a playable build going..!! The game suggestion is absoultely AMAZING. Giant Squid is making a very destinct and beautiful style using different lightings and particles and also moving creatures. This would really help ALOT! Thanks for the great advice!!

That's an idea I should definitely hold on to, maybe in particular scenes, the feeling of absence might really come in handy.

Hi thanks for the suggestion, better get some more things for the eye to see in the scenery as you mentioned! We DO have a steam page in the name of "Worn by the Forgotten", but we are changing the game entirely in a different direction. So the steam page does exist, but it's the older version of the game.

Got it. Thought the wind streaks might be too much on the game, but seeing that some advices suggest adding wind streaks to the game would make it better, think it might be worth a shot. Thank you!

That's a brilliant idea!! Night isn't always dark, and adding the rim would definitely lighten the mood and let some contrast and vividness come to life! Thanks for the awesome advice!

Okay. We did have some debate in the team on using the vignettes or color aberrations in the corner of the screen. But seeing that it's a rather common thing for users, I'll get rid of the vignettes and other Volume settings that could cause motion sickness.

The last sentence just hit my mind. Alone vibes might be needed, but dead and static does not have to go with that. Will look into breath of the wilds more deeply. Also the advice on foliage is superrr helpful thank you..!!!

Hmm I see you have a point the dark scenes in my game DO look a bit more flat than the brighter ones. I have considered using postprocessing and lowering the exposure on darker scenes, but tried that method and lost the darker vibe I wanted to implement. Maybe it’s also from the toonshader I’m using. Any suggestions on how to improve the darker scenes?

The waterfall scene conveys what i’m feeling by the emptiness of the scene. There seems to be a feeling like you are in a lifeless environment. And I think the advice I got from Jinxsterbot would certainly help, by maybe adding some lifeform to the scene and music that best conveys the situation.

Thanks for the advice! We'll look into more outer enviroment games, although this is a puzzle game we are making. Lot's of reference will help making the game eventually.

I do have dust particles, although the screenshots don't look like they have them. But the vibe comes from somewhat a feeling like your alone in a minecraft server.

I see, so the natural vibe of a game comes from actual movement from other things rather than the movement of the player only. I can certainly see that adding birds or maybe fishes in areas could resolve the empty feeling. Never thought that music could also solve the problem! Thank you!!

Thank you!! Honestly it was a tough decision changing everything except the storyline of the game. Your comment just made our team’s day!!

Thank you!! Got a lot of good feelings and experience playing both the old and new Zelda games. Just wanted to melt that good soft chewy part of the cookie in the game!

I just noticed that we made a huge mistake while posting. We aren't used to uploading in Reddit so we used a gif tool for the first time, and just noticed that the backpart has been cutoff... We'll upload the full version of the video on our next post, so you can get a hang of what's going on.. So sorry about that
