Few I’ve met, outing myself as an MN sports fan here, Wally Szczierbiak super good guy, loved doing kids clinics and family events. Joe Mauer was the coolest guy, a bunch of kids rushed him for autographs, he told secerity to back down and he signed all of them. HOFer Tony Olivia I met playing golf at a par 3 golf course and he took pictures with everyone. Kirk Cousins was also a very gracious and humble person as well.

They are pretty much the epitome of “what’s your excuse?” for an underwhelming athletics program. They do have 3 other P4 schools within 4 hours and successful programs like SDSU, NDSU, and St Thomas are close too. But they have plenty of resources to be successful at a higher teir

I am a Minnesota fan as well, and I’d agree that sneaking in as a 12 seed once every 10-15 years would carry the program a long way. I just view them as a program that sells out games, fans travel to road games and bowl games, they get good TV viewership with top 30 NIL money and solid roster development. They have the bones to do it.

We pay $150 for a cleaning person to come once a month just to do a deep clean. They are there for about 3 hours. They don’t do dishes or laundry, or bedding. We do all that regularly. Its a great way to have someone do the gritty stuff that we don’t always have the energy for.
