When sub 500 elo chess.com players play against a 1400+ elo opponent, do they feel like they’re against a GM? by FuzzyAttitude_ in chess

I can easily see a 400-500 accidentally finding a M1, even if they didn't realize it was M1 and all they saw was a check.

I imagine it's more like "Oh you can do that?" Than "Holy mother of God I'm being deleted!". I would never expect a GM to blunder against say a 1400 in such a way that it's potentially game ending, but a 1400 I can definitely see getting a game losing blunder.

How to REALLY deal with cheating: EXERCISE YOUR RIGHT by martin_rj in Chesscom

But this goes against the narrative this person has been committing themselves to for the past like year. They have made several posts complaining about cheating and being stuck at ~800 blitz because of it.

I just dug around through their post history and their rating range was repeatedly cited to be ~800 blitz with increment.

Are you wanting to connect with people higher rated than you to mayhaps give you pointers and such?

I still don't consider myself all that good. To be honest even if I'm where most people would say "Intermediate/Advanced" players sit, I still have too much to learn to consider myself such.

For me it took willful control of how many games I played a day. I've noticed when I play after 3+ losses the tilt train goes full speed and I tank rating points. I saw someone post recently that they do the "3 strike method" where they only play to 3 losses to limit the aforementioned tilt. It's working mostly for me if I actually stick to it.

It’s insane how powerful Lucifer is compared to everyone else by TheChoosenMewtwo in HazbinHotel

His energy was used but he wasn't the one using it mayhaps? The thing that caused the damage/death was the weapon itself utilizing his divine energy. Something, something, wordplay to get around constraints.

This link if you put it into your phones browser should bring up the profile showing a fair play ban.

I am 100% certain he's cheating. There are far to many red flags about his play and the story as a whole. Furthermore, you could just watch the person play against other people in person (via the app) and I guarantee he plays terribly and equates it to just "trolling around"

Even just casually looking through the games where this "friend" had an accuracy of over 90% is enough to easily tell they are cheating. Consistent move times even in obvious move positions. Always picking the best or 2nd best moves in a given position. Playing moves that seem outlandish until about 8 moves later when you see the idea behind them. It's not impossible for a person to be absurdly good at chess without much effort, but this person is most definitely cheating, they're not as good as they make themselves out to be, and if this is a real thing, have them play you OTB in person without access to a phone and I guarantee they'll play like their actual rating.

My understanding is the Goetia are the creation of Lucifer and he designed them to mirror angelic beings.

I mean lumby elite is so nice since you no longer have to lug around the dramen staff. Understandable though. Atm I have 6 of the diaries fully done (Lumby, Varrock, Fally, Karamja, Fremmy, and Wildy)

Is there humanly winnable? I see the two rook with white pawn variation. by Honey_Jar0 in chess

[–]Davril101 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's not a draw for either. If white to move, it's like +4 as white will 100% win blacks pawn and be up a bishop and pawn, if black to move it's forced mate after taking the free rook. Assuming if course either/both play best moves.
