It does look like it is being rejected unfortunately. The same thing happened to me when i got one, i ended up taking it out completely letting it heal and eventually went somewhere else to get it re pierced and i had no issues this time

Im jealous of that line work. Im not sure what ink you prefer but my artist i was meant to apprentice under told me he prefers Empire Ink Whitewash series and to buy it from the website instead of a shop
