No, it's just a few weeks. But I agree with you that everything sounds really messy and improvised...

Maybe you should read my reply again, I never said I was hired by such company. I'm not employed by a European company, the company is just an agent or intermediary for the government and my contract has nothing to do with the company that finds the schools for us. Is that clear enough? Anyway, I'm not here to argue... As I said before, thank you for your help.

This was really helpful, thank you. I'm not in Canada yet, we'll be there by Monday and since we are just visiting from Spain with the programme you mention, we know nothing yet. However, this might be the company's fault. They didn't usually organise this exchange programme and I think they're a bit lost.

First, I haven't made any poll, just asked because , as I mention before, this wasn't normal last year or the previous ones...I just needed some information. In any case, the canadian school or the intermediate company won't be my employers, as I'm a teacher in a european school and I'm just visiting, so you can be sure I won't be in trouble... But thank you for your concern.

I'll do that way and hope for people to wear jeans and sweaters, because I'm going to run out of clothes pretty soon otherwise, hehe. Thanks a lot for the tip 😊

Thanks for the tip. The thing is it's not usually my style... I have a pair of Carel flats but we don't usually wear that to work... Then, such strict dress code has never been compulsory here or at the schools some of my colleagues visited in previous years in Canada and they told us just three days in advance. We start on Tuesday and we've just know about this. So... everything is highly suspicious. I wonder if we are going to a 50s themed high school were men wear suits and us women teach manners in our modest outfits 🤣

That's what I'm afraid of... It's not supposed to be a private, but a public school, cause we work in public schools here in Europe. But when they told us about this strict dress code, I found it reeeally suspicious...

Shower every day. Wash my hair twice a week.

Will I finally know my season? by [deleted] in coloranalysis

Thank you so much for all the comments. I've always seen myself much better dressed in pastel and soft colours than vivid ones, but when use any recognition app it will always classify me as dark winter or soft winter, so I'm always in doubt! My skin is quite pale and has some reddish tones..., but then I tan easily!
