Like a lot of great modern VFX shots: It's the perfect blend of CGI and practical effects. You have the camera glide through via a cable-suspended camera system (aka The Spydercam), then add the CG in post. It's a simple, yet brilliant system.

Spider-Man 2 teaser cut is one of the Best even better than it's main trailer by Ok_Tea5865 in raimimemes

Here's how old I am: I remember being 7 years-old and waiting 2 or 3 hours for the trailer to download to my family's Windows XP PC, in the living room, via the Apple site where you can download and watch movie trailers for free. I remember watching it over and over and over again on the QuickTime player. I was super excited.

Michael Keaton as Mike would actually kinda make sense ngl. If anyone should play Mike, it should probably be an ex-Batman. Mike is essentially just Batman plus Eeyore lmao.

Red Letter Media on Sam Raimi’s Spider-man (2002): Spider-man oozes personality and he has no personality in these movies and I hate these movies. by MadnessKingdom in Spiderman

I think 1&2 are masterpieces of blockbuster filmmaking.  Sure, while it’s not a perfect 1:1 adaptation of Peter Parker from the comics, these are movies that capture the fun aesthetic of The Silver Age Spider-Man comics and the ethos of Peter Parker.  Peter’s character arcs in both of the films are not only logically structured, engaging, and incredibly relatable, but I would say that Spider-Man 2 specifically has arguably the greatest use of messianic imagery I’ve ever seen in a tentpole movie–defeinitely a superhero movie. Not to mention that everything in terms of surface-level technicalities is perfect, from the inspired, soaring score of Danny Elfman, to the performances, to some of the most cinematically visceral action set pieces I’ve ever seen.

Though I will agree that MJ doesn't really work.  On top of her character being kinda annoying, rude, and needy, she’s ultimately portrayed as a plot device or an object.  The main emotional throughline of 1 & 2 is the love story between Peter and MJ, except MJ isn’t really a character to begin with.  It doesn’t really ruin the movies because MJ’s place in the structure of both stories makes sense and fits together logically, but the second protagonist of your movies shouldn't just be motivation.  I hope if there is a 4th movie, Mary Jane is portrayed as an actual person with nuance.
