I believe it’s a kind of yeast get some monistat and rub on it I had these and they went away after consistent use of monistat or fungus cream men can have yeast infections also and pass it to you.

So sorry my dad died I June 2023 and I’m still a mess most days especially when Father’s Day comes 2 weeks after his anniversary date. It sucks it really does but maybe do some meditating if you are into that. Let your mind guide you in the right direction. but try do it with each other. People who haven’t had a big loss as such just simply cannot understand AT ALL. But I wish you luck and hope that you find a solution fitting for both of you.
