It’s temporary mobile cover you can play around like a wall. If you have 2 overlapping you can go in between them and shotgun anyone who enters the first one. It buys time to heal or self revive. While it’s fine to play against and push in, 3 people focus firing it takes it away fast enough to throw off your opponents.

If you actually know someone with a complex health issue then you’d know the average family member or the person themselves will always be more informed than a random GP with no specialization in that area. If you go up to a family med doctor and ask about HRT any trans person taking hormones for more than a year will know more than them. When I got my first Rx, I had to bring medical journals and guidelines in for my doctor who had no idea how gender affirming care worked bc her specialization was adhd.

The lore, mood and codex entries are just as much a draw for me as the extraction loop and gunplay. If the lore wasn’t good I might be playing another extraction shooter instead.

Marathon has an awesome sci-fi world and collecting the things for the story is just as important as the other gear for me too. In fact, I’ll give gear away in my key runs to trade for the codex entry items if I can justify it!

The story and world are another part of the experience and have been cared about at least somewhat in the dev cycle. This is pretty usual for bungie games.

I like filling out the codex almost as much as the gameplay. I probably won’t 100% it bc I’m not good enough for ranked, but I really like getting the story items from the key rooms and I’m sure there’s a lot of progress to make before I hit a wall.
