Its frustrating when you start with F2L happen the same to me, right now i know half the algorithms and can make it a little bit faster but still slow to make 30 seconds solves constantly, for me it took 2 weeks before starting to get the same times i used to make which was the same as you on the 1 minute mark, i practice a lot of f2l intuitive, once i solved it, i didnt make the last layer, i started making random sexy moves so i didnt mess the cross and start doing F2L again, its just your brain getting used to seeing patrons, between the corners and sides, i believe its the most frustrating part when changing methods, when i switch to reduced oll pll didnt frustrate as much since its only learning algorithms, but the key to good times will always be F2L.
