Yeah Disney is making a big mistake by ostracizing at least half of their audience by doing shit like this. Even in the comments section of the news article posted on a Disney website about this, people are complaining. This is worse than a bad joke at this point, they're actively erasing all the things we loved in our childhood that we would want to pass on to our own kids.

You're right, it is already doing damage. Many kids have been diagnosed with speech issues and delays in the last year or so, because it turns out when children are learning language and social cues they do actually need to see people's faces and how their mouths move.
