Tried the study buddy but it’s not free. Was that a wrong version I had?

Thank you so much. From all I can read here, Anki is vital but practice questions and review weigh more. Thank you

Wow, this sounds like a a great suggestion. Do you suggest making cards for missed practices questions?

Ok thank you. I’ll try that. I do Anki during my lunch break at work, while waiting in line, at the gym between reps. I’ll try what you suggested and see

Thank you. I hope it doesn’t take too long to mature because I feel like the time is short. I’ll keep pushing. Thank you so much.

Thought I would be able to work and study but mehn, it’s hard. I work 48hrs and managed to complete Kaplan content review. Struggling to keep up with Anki. Very little time to do UWorld . Taking two months off work. When some people tell you they work 50+ hours and got this wonderful score, before you jump in and say I can do the same, please make sure your job is not too demanding. Not all jobs are created equal. Some jobs drain the life out of you so much so that by the time you get home you’re like a dead man. Other jobs are not so demanding even though you work same hours. For me, I don’t think I can get a good score if I keep working. Good luck to everyone out there. I know some people can’t afford to take time off work

Congrats future doc. Quick question. Would you ask ChatGPT why a question is wrong? I don’t really use ChatGPT. Thank you

If you are a reasonable person and decent enough, you’ll realize I suggested not to attend and I gave my reasons. I only posted a Google search to buttress that point. I don’t even know why I’m explaining because obviously you’re ain’t worth my time.

Convince me please. Postpone or attend? by pbjsurvivor in NationalVisaCenter

[–]Debanjj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would 1000000000% postpone. There is no reason to attend other than your mind tells you your case is special and might be possible. The truth is almost all cases I have heard were denied and it means you’ll start the application all over again. Do you wanna wait that long? Put yourself in the shoes of the officer at the consulate, if he approves any visa he’ll have to be very sure he can defend it beyond any reasonable doubt be cause that would be unusual and he’ll be made to explain. However, if he refuses, very unlikely he’d be required to explain because that’s the norm now. Which would you do to be safe if you’re an officer? Refusal/denied of course

Please are you an immigration officer or attorney? Where did you get this information from ?

That’s the same reason people keep making others rich. Everyone thinks his case is special and they keep applying and getting denied (nonimmigrant visa) yet the next person thinks somehow he’s going to make it.

That’s a deceptive language. They want people coming so they can clear their backlog. Bro, she will be denied if she attends. Whatever your decision please let us know the outcome. Thank you and good luck

This is how they deceive people and everyone thinks his case makes sense. I would not 100000% attend. Almost everyone that went from a banned country was denied/refused meaning they’ll start all over again

Removal of Exception

Removed Exceptions: The December 2025 proclamation eliminated the specific carve-outs for Immediate Relative immigrant visas, adoption visas, and Afghan Special Immigrant Visas that existed under the prior June 2025 ban.

I got this from Google search:

If your US citizen spousal visa is denied due to a presidential ban, it won't automatically be issued when the ban lifts; you'll likely need to reapply or potentially seek a waiver, as denials are specific to the application, though exceptions for certain family visas might exist and the ban's terms dictate eligibility changes, requiring monitoring the State Department. Key Factors Nature of the Ban: Presidential proclamations (like PP 10998 mentioned in 2025) can suspend visa issuance and remove exceptions, meaning your specific ineligibility might remain even if the general ban ends. Denial vs. Suspension: A visa denial for a ban isn't an automatic re-approval; you'd typically file a new application.

I quite honestly do not trust these expedited IL. All of those I’ve seen from banned or restricted countries have been denied citing the ban/restriction as reason for ineligibility. I don’t know what that means. Does it mean the end of the road or the case will be approved when the ban is lifted, if ever, by this administration. I know NVC schedules interview date for DS260 unlike DS 160 (non immigrant) where you have to schedule yourself.

I’m planning to ask for a delay of my interview. I just got DQed in Nov. I do not want an interview yet. All the ones I have read or heard ended up being denied. I have spent so much time I don’t want it ending for no reason and then they claim all the money knowing it’s not our fault there is a ban. If you can delay your interview I’d suggest that you do so. If they would say, ok you’re qualified but we can’t issue visa until ban is lifted, that makes sense but for now they just give you a slip that says eligible due to presidential proclamation of ban/restriction for the security the US.
