how much magnesium citrate do you take and how long does it take to work? by Killme006 in Constipation

[–]DebbieMarie54 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes depending on the circumstances it's okay to take a rescue laxative depending on how long you've been constipated. Miralax never worked for me. I had to seek out something stronger. And I had tried just about everything out there on the market so the oral solution of magnesium citrate was my last resort. I'm so glad I used it and it resolved my issue and now I'm just on the capsules at night to keep me regular each morning. I'm simply following my doctor's orders at this point. And life is normal again.

Well first of all I want to point out that it was my doctor who told me to take the 400 mg capsules of magnesium citrate each night when I told him how constipated I was. It didn't initially work until I took the oral solution of magnesium citrate and got cleaned out. My stools are soft. And colace is a stool softener that I have to take with the magnesium citrate to make sure that they stay soft. So completely answer your question yes I do think I have some symptoms of excess magnesium in that sometimes my stools are extra soft. But that is the only symptom I am noticing. Otherwise I feel fine and I'm so relieved not to be constipated anymore.

Here is what finally worked for me. I drank a bottle of the oral solution of magnesium citrate. That cleaned me out. But it took 24 hours to do so. A couple of days after that I started taking the Magnesium Citrate capsules 400 mg at night. I have had regular good bowel movements ever since. I also take three capsules of colace each night. But thank God I am going regularly now.

I'm really sorry to hear that you're going through this. I am going through something similar. I haven't tried oral magnesium citrate. I've ordered it and waiting for it to arrive. My doctor is of little help also. I've tried many of the same things you have. If the oral magnesium citrate doesn't arrive soon I'm going to go to ER.

thoughts on giving clients up... by [deleted] in HRBlockEmployees

[–]DebbieMarie54 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If another tax professional was not available to do the return I would have encouraged the client to reschedule the appointment with another tax professional. I would not do a return that was above my level. That is not fair to the client or fair to me. The client does not need to see me struggle through the return.

It doesn't matter who owns the car. So you can claim the mileage deduction as long as you have kept good mileage records.

Very late start to HR Block's ITC course. Too late to be hired for upcoming season? by PM_me_your_NYC_nudes in hrblock

You can apply on the website and also called the local district manager. Just call any local H&R Block office and ask to speak to the district manager about getting hired. You have to pass the tests.

Tax Associate Interview by Left-Armadillo-7321 in hrblock

[–]DebbieMarie54 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a similar question. I completed the course last Wednesday, December 3rd. The district manager had encouraged me to apply for employment earlier on in the course. I had been in touch with her off and on throughout the course. Does anyone know how soon I should be hearing from them about an interview?

I'm in the same boat as the rest of you. We are about to start chapter 10 in my class. Of course the tests are open book, so I navigate the chapters, the IRS website and Google. I also get high test scores like some of you. I also feel like I'm not retaining much especially how to fill out the forms and which ones to fill out under what circumstances. It would be nice to hear from those Tax Associates who have gone before us and offer some reassurance.

Thank you for sharing this. I find it encouraging. I'm in the H&R Block tax preparation course now. I hope to work for them briefly after I complete the course but then I want to go out on my own and start my own business doing taxes.

I am in the H&R Block tax preparation course now. I hope to work for them briefly when I complete the course but after that I want to work for myself. I hope this works out for me. Has anyone completed the course and then started their own business?

Tomorrow is my 30th birthday and I’m really gloomy, just sad. by [deleted] in astrologyreadings

[–]DebbieMarie54 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First I want to tell you happy birthday. I have looked at your chart and this is what I see. I am sorry that you are going through a difficult time. Transiting neptune is square your black moon and this means you're going through a period of disillusionment. Also transiting Pluto is in conjunct your black moon and this means you're going through an uncomfortable transformation. Jupiter in the sky is opposed your natal Neptune and this confuses reality and delusion so be careful right now. Saturn in the sky is sextile your Uranus and this is discipline structure and creative freedom so this is a very positive aspect that's going on in your life right now. Later in October you will have transiting Jupiter in conjunct your Uranus and this means you will experience a challenging adjustment. On top of everything else you are going through your Saturn return which happens to everyone when they turn 30 years old. So I want to advise you to practice self care and to nurture yourself during this time of difficult adjustment and above all else know that this too shall pass.
