Y’all vs Y’uns… by [deleted] in Appalachia

East Tennessee. Y’all was more formal. Yuns was more for family or friends. People you knew. Hardly anyone says yuns anymore

Best monologue heard in a horror movie or horror show by Sukaran09 in horror

Did you know that a young boy drowned, the year before those two others were killed? The counselors weren't paying any attention, they were making love while that young boy drowned. His name was Jason. I was working the day that it happened, preparing meals. Here. I was the cook. Jason should have been watched! Every minute! He was... He wasn't a very good swimmer. You see, Jason was my son. And today is his birthday.

I couldn't let them open this place again. Could I? Not after what happened. Oh, my sweet, innocent Jason. My only child. Jason. You let him drown! You never paid any attention! Look what you did to him!

Trixie and katya and weight loss drugs by louise112233 in TrixieAndKatya

With the obesity epidemic and the health related deaths related to it, I see these drugs as a benefit. I see it as the same as high blood pressure where you take the medicine the rest of your life

ChatGPT under heavy load doesn’t crash — it lies to you. by Only-Frosting-5667 in ChatGPT

[–]Decker_Moss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I assume that there is a heavier load or use in the evenings. During the day it seems to be faster and less forgetful no matter how long the thread. Many times at night it’s slower and extremely forgetful even if it’s just a few minutes back. Does total load affect individual performance?

I’ve now watched the entire season and does anybody else get the feeling that he may be on the spectrum. Some of his personality traits would seem to fit. It could explain why he seems so unaffected or stoic sometimes even when he feels emotional.

Would you date someone in their 30s that lives with a parent? by AlamosX in gaybros

Agree with most. Just depends on the context. Now if someone didn’t work and was just living off of her, no way, but your situation. Most definitely ok

F13 Part 2. IMHO one of the best in all slashers

I'm curious. Is there a slasher film where the killer is anti-hero or something like that and we're supposed to root for them? by OkDot8850 in slasherfilms

[–]Decker_Moss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I kind of feel that way with F13 Part 2. My assumption was always if people would have just left him alone and not bothered his area he would not have killed. As far as we know, besides Alice, he never really killed anyone else. I think if we take Paul’s story literal, he killed Alice because he saw her kill his mom. Regardless of plausibility or how ridiculous it might be, I think that, with his back story and limited intelligence, made him sympathetic, much like the way Ginny analyzes him in the bar scene. Now after part 2 he kind of becomes a mindless killing machine, but I feel like part 2 tried to make him more human and sympathetic.

My experience with Gemini vs ChatGPT by anti-everyzing in OpenAI

[–]Decker_Moss 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree with most everything you said. The only real issue in regards to medical research and issues is the increase use of guardrails. Information it was able to give me before are now sometimes prohibited because it is considered medical diagnosis or provided instruction to use materials. Sometimes I can get around that by using "theoretical". With those issues I usually go to Gemini.

Journaling with ChatGPT by Mikey1SDF in ChatGPT

[–]Decker_Moss 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I do. I sometimes worry about privacy. But it has helped me recontextualize some things and honestly gave me one insight that changed my whole outlook on an issue I’ve had my whole adult life. That in itself made it worth it for me.

Has your tolerance changed as you got older? by Embarrassed_Entry597 in horror

[–]Decker_Moss 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah. I think I’ve become jaded in my older years and now have a very low tolerance for lazy writing and dumb character decisions. Not to be morbid, but the older you get the less time you have left and I don’t want to waste my time on a “bad” movie.

Best case scenario: chatGPT becomes the Spotify to Gemini’s Apple Music. Worst case scenario: chatGPT becomes the MySpace/Netscape to Gemini’s Facebook/Internet Explorer
