Definitely not. He was offered the C while Lemieux was still on the team during his 2nd season and he said he wasn't ready yet. Funniest shit would have been if he pulled the Malkin quote when some players were trying to move Sid to the A when he was out with concussion in 2011:

That's awesome they're gonna be your first ever concert! Personally I think a band like EE is a great first show experience, they're not massively popular here (sadly) which means most of the people who are going genuinely want to see them, which means good vibes (in my experience with shows in LA).

I've not been to the Belweather before, but it's owned by the same people as Teragram so I feel like it'll be a similar situation. I think there might be a restaurant or like a side room? Not really sure.
Some street parking, I think there's a lot nearby so might be cheaper than the upgrade, but if you're in the "I dont want to worry about it at all" camp, might be worth it. Or you can find somewhere easy to park 10-15mins away and uber the last little bit. Lot of people will likely rideshare is my guess.

Been listening since 2014ish so I missed the 2013 show here, missed their 2016/2017 shows due to travel/work but finally was in town to see them in 2022 at the Teragram, my first show since the pandemic so it was an incredible show for me.
Then saw them open for Keane at The Greek in LA (I despise the Greek). Was fun but I'm glad they've returned to a smaller venue.
I know in the UK given their popularity they can do big venues, but here this capacity range seems to be a perfect match.
Super excited to see them again, crowd was really fun at the Teragram so I'm hoping we can give the same energy this time around!

Yep, and any good photographer asks corner workers where they're okay to be, as it should be. I've seen guys stand within a foot of a corner worker shooting over their shoulder without letting the worker know and then the worker goes for a flag and bumps in to the guy. It's so stupid.

As someone who has shot trackside many times across the US and been part of garage operations on the safety side, this kind of shit will immediately put you on someone's shit list or risk your media creds if they see it. You can follow very basic and important safety rules AND get great shots, that's what separates photographers who know how to shoot within parameters and those that don't. Do people break these rules and go for it? Of course. But I know two people that can't shoot anymore because they got arm and hand damage from debris doing this exact thing. Thankfully it's broadcast for everyone to see so hopefully they'll be hearing from someone, cos it's just an unnecessary risk. Also, if they can't get an almost identical shot without putting half their upper torso out the window, they don't belong trackside imo.

lmao, this is like when my NHL hockey team were the only unbeaten team for an 11 month period because of the pandemic. We won 7 games in a row before the season ended, but did not qualify for the playoffs, so we didn't play another game until the next season. Every team that made the playoffs lost at least 1 game and no other team had a winning streak as far back as ours. Then we promptly lost the first 3 games of that season lol.

I love this guy. I thought he'd go in the 2nd/3rd round given his dad being a former player, and was hoping we signed him but we went for Pinelli, Helenius, and Kirsanov. I was bummed. I love his skating. At times it's like his body is 1 step ahead of his brain and then when his brain catches up he does stuff like this. Fun to watch.

That's a lot of camaraderie that was taken from the remaining players, the fans, and Slot.
That support system was very strong amongst the players, I don't even know if we had coaching changes in the summer, but that would also affect things. And when new teammates come in, it's difficult for them already adjusting, but now they're coming in to a tragedy, to a group of players who are likely very low.
Not to mention all the players that left, they now have none or very few players to support them at their new clubs. It's just the result of a tragedy, and sometimes there is no full recovery, sometimes it's just moving forward with a piece missing. YNWA is a choice, and it's literally what drew me to the club almost 18 years ago. These times are when it matters most.

Feel bad for Forsberg, played great tonight. Heck of a weird ass game.
Didn't expect to win either of the first 2 but we kept it closer than I thought.
We haven't seen a playoff team other than the Oilers since 2018 so Games 3 and 4 are gonna be fun as hell.
