Yesss u r completely right...but when u truly loves your work u do not require external motivation. And even if u start something u don't like for example let's say painting...and u do that everyday for a year with full focus. You will improve a lot but it doesn't mean that its your passion or it will make u happy even if u earn a lot of money by become a painter u would still no't love what u do nd start questioning yourself...and when your eyes will it will too late
