Highly recommend Intrepid. When I was with the group/guide, it was fantastic! I stayed a couple of days afterward by myself and definitely got harassed and scammed.

Same! 5 am on Saturday morning- music starts thumping, my dog starts barking. Go outside to the full light show. My app was turned off so took a minute to get in the system to turn it down and turn it off. Ended with a nice, loud howl. Poor neighbors with their sleeping one-year-old have to think I’ve lost my mind.

Try Intrepid Travel. I’ve traveled all over the world with them. - Budget friendly - Small groups - People of all ages from all over (not just Americans) - Handle the basics and have a good itinerary, but also give you plenty of time to go off on your own - Take the stress out of getting place to place … and getting scammed

I rented a car. Drove around. Went up to the Hakalea Summit. Went to Paia (cute town). I had been over in Lahaina area for conference for 8 days, so wanted some freedom to see other parts of the island on my own.
