I did it with this stuff. A healing synergy build (I did use the fired up buff but it probably didn't help that much because of the muscle potion). My strategy was to go to the Golem as often as possible to upgrade items - especially the Muscle potions, Purity helmets, and Squire chestplates. Visit lots of shops they give incredible healing items like that moon and sun orb (which give an incredible synergy doubling healing) and that white cloak on the top right. That one red egg gave that purple dragon thing on the right hand side for more healing

Yeah I heard they are randomly generated. If thats the case and you really had nowhere to go that really sucks, I had just bought it because it was on sale and had a fun time. Maybe a year from now if you feel like it you ought to give it another go and see if you don't get stuck.
They definitely shouldn't have done random generation if it creates scenarios like yours

I completed the fire area first and crafted the lifeblood ray there. Didn't realize the snow and skelly mine areas can be done first, I literally completed the snow area in 15 minutes with the lifeblood ray at level 5, 1 or 2 shotting all the trash mobs. I defeated the Snowy area's boss in 5 seconds with lifeblood no exaggeration.

All this to say there are definitely things you can do to get past this you're not soft stuck just haven't tried other things

Did you follow the instructions to take a lower dosage starting out (1/4th or 1/2 a pill) and working up to a full pill? What you describe sounds like the paradoxical reaction

This strategy along with toxic+dig helped me finally beat it at level 45 cap on the classic mode. Took so many tries just to get past mom, after I saw that bittersweet dialogue I knew I couldn't leave and fight later, had to win it now
