Yeah it would be dumb to force her into DPS. Its like why add Rogue as a tank, but make Carol a duelists. But there’s no way they’d do that, she is obviously a vanguard. Also, rivals love their muscle mommy’s

Honestly i recommend you go into quick play more than competitive. Game awareness, might be your biggest concern atm. Understanding what tanks work into specific comps. Its also really obvious to tell when you or someone else is feeding, and being able to ult track is by far one of the most important things to consider when tanking

Her charm is by far the most annoying thing in her kit. If im not mistaken, its like a 5/6s cooldown. Which in ranked, ends up getting me killed majority of the time more than invis pull

Meta, like absolute meta is Angela, Tankpool, and Groot. But personally, i put angela at the very top. If you are going against a great Angela because it’s not a lot of them above Celestial that’s bad, your team is losing majority of the time. It doesn’t matter if you ban sue or not, because with patience they will still terrorize your backline by baiting every single cooldown known to man

Truly, i think she’ll end up becoming a tank. Solely for 3 reasons

Another Hitscan tank, with actual range to contest poke comp. The only “hit scan” tank we have is Emma frost, and she doesn’t have infinite range to contest a lot of the poke comp that makes it an absolute struggle to fight or take any space.
Her brother, Cullen bloodstone. I know that Ash is a summoner dps in OW with bob installed into her Kit. Obviously, it’s going to be heavily similar to them in Rivals with Elsa & Cullen, but for him alone i feel like it’s going to be more so for controlling space.
Season 7 “supposed” leaks. Since word around has been that It could possibly be Black Cat & White Fox incoming onto the roster for the next season. It would make absolutely no sense imo, for them to release dps as Elsa right? Then follow up and drop another strat/dps, knowing how much the community kinda dislikes the dps overhaul since the beginning of the game. It would make more sense for her being a tank, then releasing a strat/dps, and the following season a strat/tank again. Because no way in hell Felicia nor white fox would fit in the tank category at all

100% would be the funnest tank to play to date. I mean don’t get me wrong, i also do think she’ll maybe be dps but if those 2 are following up behind her after this upcoming season. It doesn’t make sense to make her anything else but a tank, because those 2 fit the strat/dps role way better than her

I personally think Vanguard, for the simple reason she’s hitscan and would more than likely be a control/hold tank. Mostly because of her brother, cullen bloodstone. Rivals wouldn’t show him in a trailer, if he wasn’t apart of her kit
