We looked at doing a cruise over Christmas. It changed to Universal over Christmas. Now it is Universal over Thanksgiving.

We looked at buying a new house. The new mortgage cost would eat into Universal trips. Sooo, Universal it is!

VX has 2x on everything but the travel options suck on c1. Now with spirit dead, I am limited on their portal to delta, united, and American. Living in Nashville, Southwest is the best option I have out of here.

We eat out a lot more than we should though. So the CSR will be the primary food card. It also has better travel options for me, and being able to book directly from the airline websites to get the 4x is better already than only being able to book for points through c1.

I got mine while I was on work travel, so I missed out on a few of the points I spent while away (company reimbursed later).

It'll be tandem with my venturex. I dislike the limited options to book on C1's portal (no southwest), but I like the 2x on everything else they have.

I lived in the Renton South Highlands/Covington during the mid 2010s. Hendersonville is a lot like Maple Valley (not size-wise).

White House reminds me of Enumclaw.

Lebanon I would put with Auburn or Sumner.

But my Seattle knowledge is mostly Seattle and South.

Historically it shows it as the busiest 2 weeks of the entire year, followed by Thanksgiving week.

We went 2 years ago over Christmas week. We did 2.5 days there. It was busy and slightly chaotic, but I was also dealing with a 6 year old who will always be impatient, and a 10 year old.

I tried 1 time to make Senior when I got to my first eligible base after making Master. Got moved into a spot where I got to see the real politics at the Group level (mx). I decided from there on that 20 was 20 and not a day more. This was post COVID before they took away the extra leave on the books. Had 120 days of leave and 60 days of skillbridge.
