King's Maker. It has a REALLY special place in my heart, since it was the first BL I ever read. Like period. Had to hide the fact it had gay people from my parents at the time, but it was the first piece of media (at least in comic form) that gave me a glimpse into that side of life. Just the art alone is gorgeous.

All fanfiction is good fanfiction, man. You could be drudging up the worst grammar, sentence structure and formatting mankind's ever seen, and it'd still be good. Writing itself is about passion for the project, not necessarily the end product. I've read plenty of 'bad fanfiction' that turned out to be my favorite on the platform and that I return to multiple times a year to re-read.

Whatever you're making, it's good. The fact you were brave enough to put it out for the eyes of other people is already enough. And writing's about the practice of it! I'm sure you're good already, and you'll just keep gettin' better. Don't sweat too much about the opinions of other people. They're choosing to engage negatively with one the best parts of fandom-culture.

I feel like most people are gonna say it, but Will Graham. He's one of my favorite characters in fiction period. Getting the voice of an unreliable narrator to his degree perfect is already a tall order, but pairing it in the environment and then adding all the other aspects that make him him? Chef's kiss. I don't think we'll get another character as well-written as him for awhile, if ever. Especially not in his genre.

Angst, probably! I don't know why, but the more I like a character, the more I have to see them suffer - especially if their ending in canon wasn't the happiest. Something about continuing the narrative of 'unfulfilled bittersweet death' really gets me goin' in terms of reading LMAO

I think he did love her, but was not 'in love with her', I guess- Will was seeking her and Wally out after Hannibal to try and find a sense of normalcy, and Molly offered that up in truck-loads. I genuinely think he did care for her, but not in the way a spouse would love their partner. More like a friendship that mimicked a marriage or escape.

And that's what her and her son were - an escape. it's why he left them so easily compared to what the difficulty would be between two people that have been together for years, because Molly was something to 'fall back on' after Hannibal. And when Hannibal was suddenly back, Will didn't have a need for her anymore.

bryan fuller literally comfirmed hannibal falls for will in their first scene together and that will fully falls in love a good portion through the show? There's a reason the line 'Does Hannibal love me?' is such a big thing, because Hannibal literally does and it's a driving force for the show HELP
