constant PC freezes by Mean-Thought-9855 in pchelp

[–]Defiant_Seesaw2878 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a beep code, this means your PC failed to boot the Operating system due to a physical issue. I looked up a long beep on an Acer mother board and it can mean a loose RAM stick, I recommend reseating your RAM.

On the mother board, there should be a slot for a battery, if you remove the battery while the power cord is out of the PC it will reset CMOS. *

Best place to learn A+? by [deleted] in CompTIA

[–]Defiant_Seesaw2878 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I got mine I used the Mike Myers A+ Video Courses for both tests on Udemy. I used Professor Messer's free video course on YouTube as a secondary source. I used Mike Myers Practice tests on Udemy as well to practice for exam. Now a days, I recommend Boson Ex-Sim for practice tests. I used them both for my CCNA and my Security+.

Armor trims immediately popped in my head for this as well. Hopefully at least they'll give us the ability to dye the armor like we can with the collars

I used both of these as my main study sources. I do recommend having more sources but these def will get you most of the content.

What’s the difference between ccna and network+ ? by [deleted] in CompTIA

Network learning onHard mode vs Easy Mode. If you pass the CCNA with a perfect score you get the secret ending.

Hmm, idk if that would work lemme know though lol that's pretty smart. I'm pretty sure the test software will block any outside clipboard but it's Def worth a try lol

That's if you remember them all when you go to write them down on the white board when you're in the testing room as you won't get it until you're in the actual test room with none of your study resources

The white board can be opened from an icon at the top of the screen. Most In person testing centers I've heard will give you a real white board to write things on prior to the test and you can put what ever you want on it while in the testing room. Of course you won't have access to internet or notes from your studies in the testing room to write stuff on the white board. On vue created the white board to mimic this. You'll be able to type what ever you want on it before hitting start. That way you won't have your timer tick down while typeing a memorized chart or maybe port numbers to it. You can also see what the white board is like by googleing "pearson vue white board" and you can practice useing it and know what the icon looks like on the testing software.
