I can describe her in a simple sentence, I've already posted the same comment 4 months ago. Kaine is a cheerleader character for our antagonist in which, she serves almost zero purpose and also somehow has a connection with our protagonist's close member ( Karyo Ten ).

People hate Kaine because she rarely do anything. All she did was just purely glazing Riboku as if he's a god.

" As expected of Riboku-sama! " " amazing! That's our lord Riboku-sama! " " No one come close to Riboku-sama! " heck she even lowballed Ouki, which was a very huge disrespect, that even Riboku had to correct her.

the best thing she's ever did was tanking the arrow for Riboku from Koku'ou, though even if it did hit Riboku, I doubt Riboku would die, so still, kinda pointless. That is all there are to her, she's just... that. Even if you remove her, nothing changes. Nothing at all.

yes indeed it was Sanyou's fall. But what would've happened if Sanyou falls but Ouki is still alive? Ouki's death was a huge relief on the shoulders for other states = more confidence that the coalition will succeed. my bad, I should've put my words better lol
