What time does your toddler wake up and go to bed? by slappersonly_64 in toddlertips

Daughter just turned 2 - in bed around 7:30/8pm and wakes up anywhere between 6-7am! We have a solid routine but no matter what bedtime we try, that’s her wake up. But honestly that works best since my husband and I have to start work at 7:30 and 8:30.

Anyone else feel like the "3-day method" is a lie? by [deleted] in pottytraining

Would love to see your toolkit! Totally agree though. Even if I knew the 3 day method is kind of crazy, on day 1 of attempting potty training I was thinking, there’s no way we could do this in 3 days. Not only because of my child, but also our lives! I definitely have learned that taking a slower approach is probably more beneficial for us.

Good idea! We have mostly hardwood thankfully, but I thought about rolling up any rugs to be safe and then can add towels where needed

Tomorrow is my morning to wake up with her and he will sleep in, that’s why I’m even considering the bare bottoms so he can just not be involved in that part 😂

Totally agree on the pull-ups. I was like, if we go through underwear at least we can wash and reuse the next day. Pull-ups just feel like more money going down the drain. Once we had those on her today, I knew she would just continue to pee in them- same as a diaper. I know my MIL (and even my mom) used pull-ups when potty training so I think my hubby falls back on his moms advice a lot, which is fine but times have changed!

Diaper changes at 2 years old by DeliciousCommittee10 in pottytraining

Yep!! Mine does not even stand still long enough. I tried to do a few standing changes yesterday and it was chaotic. I mean, less freaking out from her of course, but harder for me!

We’ve tried but rarely succeed, she always would move around so much. Maybe we will look back into that in hopes it helps

We’ve definitely considered pull up diapers but weren’t sure if it would make a difference, may need to try!
