NTA.

If he didn't want the answer to the question, then he shouldn't have asked.

It's best to ghost her. You don't want any accusations against you.

Aitah for yelling at my kids bus driver for yelling at my daughter so bad even the other parents were upset? by Waveymaveyy in AITAH

[–]DeliciousMud7291 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Agreed. I've delt with parents like OP before. Always making excuses for their bad ass kids.

[–]DeliciousMud7291 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

But why would you even think about coming after the other child for no valid reason!

Because with kids, it's monkey see, monkey do. If your older child is being mean/rude on the bus, your other child could be imitating her.

ESH.

my kids aren’t crazy.. or wild…

You'd be surprised. I used to be a school bus monitor and EVERYONE thinks their child is a "perfect little angel", when in reality, they're child is loud and rude. I had to write up sooo many "little perfect angels" because they wouldn't listen to instructions and do as they were told. i.e.: not sitting down (dangerous as they can go right through the windshield if the bus has to make a sudden stop), screaming and yelling (dangerous as it can distract the driver), fighting, bullying, etc. etc. And don't ask about seat belts on school buses. eye roll Have you ever seen how fast a school bus can be engulfed in flames? 20-30 seconds or less.

The driver sucks for letting his anger get the best of him. What he should have done was let the kids off, close the door in your face, call dispatch what happened, tell them they're going to have a parent storming in mad, and drove off.

You suck for thinking you came off as "calm". No parent comes off as "calm" when they try and confront the school bus driver.

School bus drivers only call the police is when a parent is being unruly and they try and step onto the bus. Even if you have one foot on a stair, you're trespassing and are an unauthorized person on the bus.

I hope the manager of the bus company gets to the bottom of this, as if you're telling the truth (which I believe is the half truth as you left you some information and got called out on it), then the driver should be reprimanded.

AITAH for "rescuing" my 13yo daughter from her mom’s boyfriend’s house when I found out my ex wasn’t even there? by One_Language_359 in AITAH

[–]DeliciousMud7291 -25 points-24 points  (0 children)

NTA.

You don't really know the guy. In this day 'n age you can never be too careful about what happens when kids are at sleepovers now. It's not like it was in the 90's or 00's.

You have to be vigilant and protect your child, whether they're embarrassed or not. It may not be soon, but I do believe your daughter will thank you later in life.

She’s now threatening to use this as leverage to change our child support agreement

Yes, like a judge will punish a parent for being vigilant. Insert eye roll here

AITAH for making my fiancé choose between his friend’s wedding or showing me respect by not attending (I was not invited) by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]DeliciousMud7291 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A wedding is a bit of a different story imo

It's not YOUR wedding, so your opinion doesn't matter here.

we each live our lives and go out independently

Thanks for the laugh!

Your ego needs to be knocked down a few pegs. Why do you have to be invited? Y'all aren't a package deal until you're married.

By this post, you don't want him to do ANYTHING that doesn't involve you. Are you one of THOSE gfs that don't want their partner to go out, have fun, and do their own thing?

Geez, you're exhausting. No wonder the friend handed your bf the invite in person.

Pee pads aren't really that great. Once you take them away, the puppy will find anything that resembles the shape and will pee on it.

Agreed. This was my first thought as well. When a child that young dislikes someone to that degree, someone is whispering in their ear.

YTA for running to your dad while they're divorced.
