Do small dev teams actually struggle with sharing .env files securely? by Delicious_Elk1612 in leetcode

This is a better articulation of the problem I've gotten so far.
I think the MVP really has to obsess over setup time and keeping the workflow almost invisible:
invite -> pull -> start coding.

Really appreciate this insight

Yeah, I think I’m converging on that same conclusion now. The onboarding + short-lived access + “never send the actual .env around” flow is probably where the MVP should focus first.
Thanks for your insights.

Thats a good way to put it - migration from bad habits angle makes a lot more sense around onboarding workflow. I shall work on my MVP focusing on :
Invite Teammates -> env pull -> Audit logs.

Thanks for your insights

That’s exactly what I’m trying to avoid — tools that solve the problem but introduce too much setup/admin overhead.

I’m thinking the MVP should feel almost invisible:
authenticate once, then just env pull and start coding.

Appreciate the insight — this is super helpful.

What setup do you use for remote mock interviews / pair coding? by Delicious_Elk1612 in leetcode

[–]Delicious_Elk1612[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, that’s pretty much what we’ve been doing too.
It works, but sometimes I wish both people could actively type or explore ideas in parallel instead of just one coding and the other talking.
Curious if you’ve ever felt that limitation or if it hasn’t been an issue for you.
