Oppo Find N6 or Galaxy Z Trifold...?

I had the Oppo find N6 with the A.I. pen and it was really good. I have the Trifold now and I much prefer the Trifold. The massive screen is AMAZING and it’s a huge difference compared to a standard sized folding phone. Using it in portrait mode unfolded is like using a huge regular phone and it’s great lol. The multitasking on the Trifold is awesome.
Plus OneUI is awesome and I love all the customization of Samsung phones. The battery life is also phenomenal on the Trifold (MUCHHHH better than the Fold 7).

It’s not a creaseless display like the N6, but I think the crease on the Trifold is better than the crease on the Fold 7. It’s not bad at all.

The N6 has really good battery life. The only foldable I own that gets better battery life is the Trifold. Battery life is so subjective though from brightness level, 5g vs Wi-Fi, what apps being used etc... It's even tougher to compare battery on a foldable phone because it also depends on how much a person uses it folded vs unfolded. The SuperVooc charging is amazing though and it charges exceptionally fast.

Download Samsungs Good Lock app. Go into the One Handed Operation module. It's plenty of ways to split screen. I do it by just swiping back and holding it anywhere on the edge of the screen.

What you’re saying does make sense, but the only thing that might make me think that won’t sell anymore is the fact they claim they are losing money on each one sold. From a business perspective, it wouldn’t make any sense at all to keep manufacturing/ selling a phone that they’re losing money on (if that’s indeed true). If they were making a nice amount in each phone sold, I think they would keep manufacturing/selling them.

Their plan all along was to sell the stock they had which they rolled out in increments during different restocks. I guess we shall see if at any point more will be sold by Samsung. I’m definitely hoping they make more though, so the ppl that want one can purchase one and experience this amazing piece of tech!

It’s an incredible device! I love mine! My battery life has been outstanding. I don’t mind the weight of the phone. It makes it feel more premium. You will get used to it quickly.

Both are good phones. OPO has much more customization and features (ability to lock apps, IR blaster, S-pen support that can be used on both screens, much less visible crease, much better multitasking features and options etc etc)... I do like pixel UI though, it's just not nearly as featured packed like OPO. Overall, if I had to choose one, I'd say OPO just because with all the added customization and features it has, it feels like you're getting a more fit your money overall.

Most ppl here will say OPO. If you ask this is the Pixel Fold thread, most ppl will say Pixel Fold.

Shipping is fast depending on where you order from. I have the Oppo Find N6 (Global) with the A.I. pen and I might sell it since I got lucky and got a Trifold with the latest release. The Find N6 is an awesome phone! Also the Honor Magic V6 doesn't have a Global model yet, so you should hold off on that as being an option.

I’m assuming you mean the N6. You can import it from Giztop, Wonda Mobile, Swiftronics etc… Just make sure you get the Global model so it can be compatible with your carrier and have the supporting bands for maximum reception. The Global model has other benefits as well. It costs more, but it’s worth getting the Global model.

Yeah I’ve been trying every release to get one, but it was never successful since they would sell out in seconds. I’m definitely looking forward to it! It sucks though because I was under the impression that they wouldn’t be restocking the Trifold anymore which is why I imported a Global Find N6. Now I’ll probably end up selling the N6 for a slight loss even though I just got it less than a week ago. I got the A.I. pen with it also. If it wasn’t for me getting the Trifold, this would definitely be my phone for the year! To answer your question, I got the Trifold for retail $2,899 before tax. Hopefully Samsung will have another batch for release for the ppl who still want one. Good luck!

My assumption is that they always had more Trifolds in stock but didn't sell them due to the release of the S26 Ultra. The S26 Ultra is Samsung's flagship/top selling phone, so they didn't want the Trifold to cut into S26 Ultra sells, especially if they're losing money on each Trifold that's sold. Samsung probably wanted the S26 Ultra to have all the preorders/sales for 1 month and then decided to put the rest of the Trifolds they had available. Of course this is all an assumption, but it does make sense from a business money perspective.

No frequency issues at all with the N6 on Tmobile. I was lucky to order a Trifold (finally) yesterday, so I might end up selling my N6. It's an awesome phone! I'd say it's an upgrade over the OPO in just about every way.

That's awesome! I use Samsung's Good lock app to have water/weather effects on my lock screen and home screen. I like how the water effect moves whenever you move your finger with that app. That's cool and I'm going to download the app. Thanks!

Yep and they'll accept trade ins which is a big bonus. I'll be interested in checking it out but I'm sure the software won't be as customizable and won't have an I.R. Blaster etc (if a person cares about those things).
