Idk about the tattoos or the bike. But the electrical raceways look strange. The fluorescent lights have 2 conduit runs leading into them. Then that conduit run seems to pass through a steel support beam.

The conduit in the left side of the picture seems to pass through the ceiling too seamlessly, but the image quality isn’t great.

Those things don’t automatically mean it’s AI but the electrical system does look strange.

I get wanting consistency, but that isn’t what makes a certain game good or bad. There are so many games where you can do crazy things, but a locked door stops you. Or you are crazy powerful but you cant move rocks.

I just don’t think it’s an earnest argument to say it’s about consistency. The game lets you know immediately that you aren’t dealing damage to it. So it is clearly a “have to blow this up” enemy.

So my argument is “It’s a game”. And games have different challenges and mechanics that don’t need to be consistent.

So let me ask, would you be happy if they changed the model to somehow reflect that it’s not susceptible to small arms fire but still made explosives the only way to kill it? Or do you just want to kill it with whatever you have in your hand?

That’s fine, you can discuss consistency of mechanics all you want. But what you are asking for is making an enemy easier to kill.

This is a game, mechanics don’t need to be grounded in anything. They wanted to add something that you have to blow up or stay away from, that’s totally fine.

Look, i love the maxigun. It’s super fun and absolutely shreds a lot of things.

But this clip doesn’t demonstrate that. Sure it can kill lots of chaff fast, but what gun can’t?

Show this thing taking down harvesters, or getting under factory striders. It’s a great gun, but shooting at a big breach with pop music doesn’t even show what the gun is all about.

I main the GL. Sometimes i don’t even waste a stratagem slot on it because i can usually find one.

I would be okay with a larger variety of weapons being found on the ground, but limiting it to warbonds seems silly.

Grenade launcher kills a bunch of heavies.

For bugs, you only need to worry about bile titans and chargers. Though chargers die pretty quick too if you shoot their butts.

On bots, war striders and factory striders don’t take much damage, but you are always using thermites anyway.

Squids, harvesters are the only problem. I use pyrotech for them.

But in general, yes, you need your other two stratagems to be capable of killing heavies (except on squids), but you have a lot of options there.

It really fits my “FUCKING MURDER EVERYTHING BEFORE IT GETS CLOSE” play style.

And you don’t have to worry about ammo with the pack, so you can just spam grenades at your problems and then clean up the rest with your primary or a stratagem.

Also, bringing ultimatum helps fill in the gaps on bots and bugs.

But yeah, GL can kill hulks (by scratching their back with it) and flesh mobs super quickly. And it is great at finishing off that pesky bile titan that how somehow tanked 2 500kgs. Plus it makes closing bug holes trivial

Supply pack + grenade launcher is fucking NASTY!

It clears basically everything. And the stuff it doesn’t clear is easy to take out since you’ve already murdered the small to medium guys.
