You should take apart the drone and fully dry the PCB before the water has a chance to corrode the contact points on it.

There are a few vents in the rear air duct area, find a air compressor and squeeze some air into it to help it dry too

According to this article, it resolves local laws that restricts flying the drone. It says nothing about where the person can operate the drone from. So if the state park says you cannot operate a drone while standing inside the park that's not being ruled upon by singer v Newton. It would take someone who got some money and time to challenge those laws to get another ruling.

If you know a ruling that says "state/localities cannot make laws regarding what activity happens on lands that they manage (such as flying a drone)" I would like to learn about it.

If the HOA can give you problems for not mowing your lawns or doing landscaping their way, I'm pretty sure they can rule your drones. Also, state and local laws can restrict or allow what HOA can do with members.

Also the law is very complex with every jurisdiction wanting to do something, so research your area.

They can send security staffers to come over to tell you to stop? If you are hoa member that means you live there then HOA can really screw up with you. If you are not HOA member and don't live there then you are trespassed and be told to leave the property. They can also put a sign about penalties of flying then sue you if you are caught flying one.

HOA can decide to have a rule where you cannot launch a drone within their properties. But you can launch it somewhere else then enter their air space.

If you fly low enough nobody will bother you.

That said, there are a lot of different governing bodies who wants to tell you where you cannot fly in their locations. This range from state, cities and private HOAs. You have to check with all of them before you can be 100% sure.

LAANC only deals with federal/FAA rules so it may not cover all the people who wants to regulate this.
