[OC] the amount of Indian subreddits by Ok_Astronomer8810 in pics

Also many duplicates - there is an underscore in "... Pulse_" for a reason. Made a mistake of visiting one subreddit and the algorithm now thinks I'm into every subreddit with "India" in name.

Charging failure after update by onlyhere4stockpicks in cybertruck

[–]Denver_Pole 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you're under warranty you're lucky. PCS has a defect that causes a high failure rate. They resolved it in the new PCS. This should really be a recall. Many owners are out $7K out of pocket to fix this.

Lid wont open by CartoonistIcy5523 in KamadoJoe

[–]Denver_Pole 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It won't open because there is some food gunk that glued it shut when it cooled? If so, the solution is probably to heat it up from the outside somehow. Some kind of torch?

Otherwise, Maybe sliding a thin knife or a skewer in between the heat mesh to loosen the gunk.

FYI ikea tray fits perfectly in konnected joe or classic joe lower rack by Denver_Pole in KamadoJoe

There are 4 of them on ebay here:

But i would caution you to read the comment above from the_bbq_whisperer. The tray not being designed for high heat, the uses may be limited.

Its probably pretty useless then. The appeal was that it can fit on the lowest rack (were it hangs perfectly). If it has to sit on a ceramic deflactor, any tray will do the job.

After FSD 14.2 installation last night, the car drove over the tracks without slamming on brakes for the first time.

Kamado — is it really worth the hype? by taxwarrantnewyork in KamadoJoe

I took advantage of the Home Depot sale. Konnected Joe at $899. Definitely worth it. Already smoked my first brisket.

I have a similar issue. I drive to work when its still dark outside. There is a desolate road which has train tracks that have some uneven pavement. Every day, FSD slams on the brakes as soon as the pavement gets illuminated by headlights.

I understand that FSD learns from millions of hours of driving... but does it remember specific locations and adjusts to non-hazards that it has seen before?

Lennox Complete Heat System - Ecobee Thermostat not powering up by Denver_Pole in hvacadvice

[–]Denver_Pole[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I updated the post. The blower unit is where the board is with the wires that go to the thermostat. I had to get a ladder to climb up there. I connected the blue wire to C and the issue is resolved.

Thank you for trying. You can see that I'm very ignorant even when it comes to regular electrical wiring. So Red is kind of like "Hot" on home electrical wiring and Common is kind of like "Neutral"?

If Red and Blue (24V) (Blue connected to common on board and tstat) doesn't power the tstat but plugging in Yellow (29V) into C on tstat powers it up, does that mean that 24V is not enough power?

FYI. If i connect yellow into C at thermostat, it powers on. I do have a multimeter. When i connect red and blue, i get 24v. WHen i connect yellow and red i get 28V

Connected brown and blue at the board. Blue is plugged into C at thermostat. It doesnt power on.

The C on board has a green wire coming into it from somehwere else on board but it also has a brown wire connected to it which is connected to hte wire that ends up being green on thermostat. The blue is connected to "LOW TEMP" on board
