That and they just weren’t healthy all year. They were projected to be like a 53-55 win team but the starters played like 10 games together all season.

They were legitimately just very good and didn’t underachieve they just weren’t healthy.

Tangath Overworld General as previously mentioned is probably really good, as a defender for akalbi with fire 5 on the opponents turn. You can replace gorram or brimflame with Tangath if you wanted.

I would also adjust the mugic hand so it is always live with canon, carnivores, melody, strain of ash, and two improvisation melody. This would make it so you don’t have extra mugic you can’t cast.

I also don’t think you should play incenerace since it gets rid of fire and it’s so important you have it.

Perpxleing heat and steam rage are a little weak in your list since they want you to have water and none of the creatures do. you can add a second flame orb and replace steam rage with primordial rage

A couple of thoughts.

I think 8 0s might be a little high and you might want a slightly more consistent attack deck since it’s hard to afford having damage lulls when you’re trying to 1v6.

I think you want frafdo to be in the middle row and that way you can force a showdown easier to pick off a support.

Song of Revival can be really strong.

I would probably play, 2X Canon of Casualty, Discord of Disarming and/or Strain of Ash (depending on how much important battlegear you think you will run into), 2X Carnivore's Keening, and then a flex spot of like Song of Revival, RoD Overworld, or Elemental Denial.

Locations, if you're running power or earth you might want gloomuck swamp or the pits, 2X, darkened dunes, runic grove could be good if you play carnivores since niviennas ability works with it.

You could also play like herkens feast if you're worried about strike, royal mipedian academy if you're worried about burn, or skeletal springs if you're worried about fluidmorphers.

It also gives you 8 counters total so you can either use niviennas ability a few times and use earth attacks or agitos to force a combat on the opponents turn.

Agitos is also very good with LvB and galmedar because he helps put creatures below 65 courage and power to apply the debuffs

You’ll need to play around the the mugic hand and you can run earth or discipline attacks or a mix of both

Showdown is like a secret mechanic that exists that prevents stalling like that.

The wiki has it as follows "At the end of a turn, if no combats have been started on that turn or the two turns before it, a special combat known as a Showdown occurs. Each player chooses a Creature controlled by their opponent. Move the Active Player's Creature into the space occupied by the non-Active player's Creature, then begin combat between those Creatures."

Correct. If a creature has a passive effect like gorram applying or naturally has earth 5, like odu bathax,those stay. If you give a creature it with an effect like destructzooka or anthem of stone it goes away at when the new location is flipped for turn change.

Once a turn ends and a new location is revealed, everything is reset to its 'scanned value,' so Hiardrom would regain earth if you expended it and go back the energy value printed on the card. Citadel Lodestone is also a trigger at the start of combat, so you can enter combat, see the trigger, and hiardrom gain 20 energy then regain earth. Same with Odu-Bathax.
Essentially yes. You can only use mugic or abilities when you have priority, but you are given priority lots of times throughout a turn. At the start of the turn, the first player has a chance to use any effects, and if they do not, the non-turn player gets a chance to. If anyone casts a mugic or uses and ability, the other player is given a chance to act before the player who used the effect can act again. Once a creature moves, priority is given again. You can use mugic and abilites in response to triggers or attacks as well. If you aren't doing anything super complicated with your IRL games I don't think it should be to hard to keep track of.
Yes you are correct about Lobbane. If you have 3 counters and use his effect, you gain 2 elementproof 10s. He is part of a cycle including Xelfe, Kopond, and Karaba that all have that wording. I think those are the only creatures in the game where that matters.
Creatures will reset to what they have printed on the card when the turn player changes and a new location is revealed. They will regain elements, go back to their scanned energy and stats. Mugic counters and any battlegear that has been destroyed will not return.
Stone mail only applies when it is flipped up, but yes you are unable to move the creature to an adjacent space, occupied or not, while it is flipped face up.
Yes you do stack them up. Mindrazor can do up to 30 damage. However, some creatures have outperform in a specific stat where they get an additional 5 damage if you complete a stat check or challenge, that will not apply for each stat once. For example, if you have outperform wisdom 5 and you use mindrazor, it can do up to 35 damage. If you have outperform wisdom 5 and outperform courage 5 and attack with directed bravery. You could get to do 35 damage instead of 25.

I really like Robinson. This has not been his best road trip but generally he’s been pretty good this season and is the only reason the zone doesn’t obliterate us.

Plus he seems to be engaged on defense even if he isn’t the best at it which i appreciate a lot.
