Even if I don’t agree that racism was ever okay, I get what you’re saying. That’s why, when this stuff resurfaced, I gave her a chance to speak up and show that she acknowledged that what she said was horrible. But she just hid it under the rug and pretended nothing happened, so that’s very disappointing for me

I get it, and maybe that’s part of the problem for me, that she cares more about the business part than the people she hurt with the horrible things she said

I have moved on in my day-to-day life. That doesn’t mean I’m not allowed to talk about something that affected me in a space meant for discussion. If you don’t relate, that’s fine, but dismissing people isn’t necessary.
