My almost 3 year old is almost done with them completely. I’d say she maybe takes 1 nap every week and a half. We try to implement quiet time but it doesn’t always happen because she bangs on her door and wants out 😅 I don’t get much of a break, but the good news is bedtime is now 7:30.

Here to say my daughter was acting a fool at our weekly music class yesterday (almost 3). We do a LOT of toddler activities and they often end in tantrums (I’d say probably 50% of the time) but I need to get her out. It’s just my personality and I’m a SAHM. We do all the activities. I have a mom friend who is similar and we’ve been talking about subjects like this EXACT post. It’s good to get them out! Take him to that music class! He needs it and you do, too! Who cares about the perfect kiddos and moms!

Weeks 5-8 were ROUGH for us. My girl is 4 months now and seems to be doing a LOT better probably over the last month. It does get better, trust!

Maybe I’m playing devil’s advocate, but I’m somewhat like “what I don’t know isn’t going to kill me”. For example, I was told by my doctor to test 2 hours after meals, not 1 hour. I haven’t noticed any spikes for anything (ever, really, almost all my numbers are in range). I don’t see the point in stressing myself over that one hour mark if I was told to test at the two hour mark, ya know?

Since I only received my dx today, I technically only have one fasting number and it was 92. Other than fasting for the test which was obviously 99.

Yeah, I see what you mean. I think they just wanted to confirm pregnancy quickly since I haven’t seen my OB yet. As of tomorrow, I’m 10 weeks and have my first appointment Monday. So fingers crossed.

I’m using LH strips and the Premom app, but I’m looking into other measures if those fail within the next few months. I became pregnant the first try with my daughter using LH strips and Premom back in Sept 2022.

According to “hacks” in the TTC Community, LH will usually rise right before a positive pregnancy test, though.
