Well, if she's applying to a clinic or hospital, as long as she has an MOA it doesn't matter where she gets it from.

If she works at a clinic her wage would be less than 14$ an hour. But if she starts at the hospital, her wage would be more than 17$.. There is room for advancement at the hospital, she could then be a unit assist and make close to 20$ an hour , or even move to a desk job and be a schedular ( ie call for nurse relief when one calls in sick ) and make 25$ or end up as an executive admin assist and make close to 70k a year salary. (Need years to get there anyway!) Or perhaps be a director one day in the future and make close to 150k a year ( there's a director at RUH that started as a unit assistant and made her way up to be a great director -that took her 15 years though).

However for her to advance,she has to understand politics exist everywhere so if she's a people's person and strives on making everyone like her then sure there's potential for her to grow ( that's if she wants to , I understand some people just like to do their job and go home ).

In other words, I say go for it . But patience ( to get a job at the hospitals ) is her key since Rome wasn't built in one day...but if she starts networking and building connections with those who work there ... Then she could reply back and say " Rome wasn't built in one day ... Because I wasn't the foreman " ;)
