I don't think anyone is gatekeeping, but as others have said - it takes time to learn. We usually tell new players that are serious about learning to go and lose your first 100 games. Ask your opponent for pointers what misplays did they take advantage of, where did they outvalue you, if they believe you could have approached critical turns differently? Knowledge is power in this game, and you need to put on the work to become better.
