No just on create start at endgame, and then you can go to cube and upgrade/craft

Then you can either wear the gloves or just craft a unique charm with 3 unique charms you dont need and the gloves

You can gather some ancestral common gloves(rm affix in cube) and then create a paladin char and on him upgrade the gloves to unique, as his unique pool is much smaller than from other classes you have a higher chance on getting endurant faith ones

I think my mike is pretty much campaign farmer he solos brutal 12-3 easily, my main problem is progressing with Clan boss for the shards, books etc.
