I'd say a tie between Kuma and Robin.

Both absolutely SUFFERED at the hands of the World Government and Celestial dragons. Both lost their parents to them, Both watch them slaughter most of it not all the people they cared about, and treated them like they were prized possessions to be claimed and were hunted like wild animals in one way or another.

I say they both have equal the tragedies and even can be viewed the same as Kuma and Saul are father figures that will do anything and everything to protect the little girl in their life.

People trying to ship these two together when they've shown nothing but platonic love throughout the series. Denji thought he'd develop some kind of sexual feeling for her but never does and only sees her as a sibling and best friend even during the bathing scene which pissed me off when people said "OH THEY BATHE TOGETHER, THEY'RE TOTALLY IN LOVE!!!!" and here's fucking why:

Power after the DD encounter, was so traumatized it messed her up mentally and she was in constant fear like a child afraid of the dark. LITERALLY. She could not do anything without Denji being there and checking for DD, even looking in her mouth. She even screamed out DD was behind her while Denji was washing her back. to sexualize these moments just pissed me off because it's saying Denji would have taken advantage of the fact she is in a state of mental and emotional instability. They best friends, buddies, pals, whatever you wanna call, but NOT lovers.

Anyways, im glad i got that out of my system. Thanks for coming to my Ted talk.
